The Cowboys problems start with Paul Green. Hasn't been able to adapt to the changing style of the game and never changes the team until it's way overdue.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 30
can somebody talk me OUT of Okunbor.
I could really do with the extra 70k from picking Xerri.
But reading Joku's stats he is so hard to pass up it makes me suspicious- how have I never even heard of him before if he is so adept at busting the line? Is this kid a fluke?

I’ve gone Garner > Bateman. But I’m not sure. Garner could be in for a field day against the broncos. I’ve got trade options of players who should earn cash to trade: BElliot; Host; Burns; DBrown.
We have lost 8 of our last 10 against the Broncs. In the 2 wins, one was by 2 points and the other a field goal. We just don't get up for the games mate.

Someone somewhere asked about DBrown's injury status and got a reply that "he has got bone bruising like the Pat Cummins who took 2 months to recover". 2 and 2 were put together and then Chinese whisper made it "DBrown out for 8 weeks" and someone from DT picked that up.
There you go.
In the NRL interview on the Eels page, Sterlo mentioned that D Brown was unlikely to train for another 3 to 4 weeks until he could move without pain. Following that, he would resume light training for a while before any possible return. It seems like a minimum of 6 weeks at least and too long to hold him I reckon. You can check out the interview for yourself on the NRL site if you wish, it is the post-game analysis after they played the Sharks. Hope this helps with making a decision.

Probably me. Other options available, Turbo may play round 12 if not up to origin 1, already have Ponga, get RTS in for the 2nd bye round, Val Holmes may be back too.
Likely only pick him up before then if he has a run of poor scores and get him on the cheap.

Bulldogs are playing free flowing footy, the exact style Dean Pay wants out of the team. They tatted slow because they had a bunch of plodders in toe. How long will this current groove last? Depends. But the longer it keeps going the better chance he gets metres and breaks.

If he scores say 33 this week he'll go up 50kish anymore than that and he's making bank. I originally had him over Xerri two weeks ago but thought ultimately the Dogs were duds so didn't do it. I'm doing it this week. He's going to make too much cash to leave out.

Thoughts on going
Edwards > Tedesco
Keighran > Haas
Leaves me just under 100k itb
I want to get rid of macca soon too. Is Rein a viable starting hooker option for now?

I'd hold off on Haas for a week personally. He's played 3 first grade games for a combined total of less than one half of footy.
Obviously Seibold is going to use him differently but he's a bench forward, minutes and workrate is a mystery, I think he could be a huge dud. It's your team though, if it benefits future trades and he's the only viable option you see then take it.
Rein can be your starting HOK for now but if you don't have one on the bench like Mahoney then you're up against it because at some point Rein is going to become a trade and by then you'd need to be in a position to instantly upgrade him to a Cook, Smith or Farah.

I do have Mahoney in my team. Was a little unsure about him but his last performance gave me confidence to keep him in the team. Fair points on Haas. I’ll See how TLT goes and word coming out of the club during the week

Trying to pick between Teddy and Ponga for my second trade in this week but the extra cash banked from Ponga is leaning me towards letting Teddy go until after Origin

These double gun moves tempting me into a double cow this week so I can have a bank and play that game next weekWelshy wrote:
I'm working on some looks for your query now fella!
Carty/Sivo are fine and making decent $$$
If Carty maintains the 80 minute edge role I'd be expecting high 30s/ low 40s and for his price i'll take that everyday!
Edwards is a pain but lost so much cash vs his potential I'm considering holding (might have too as I'm holding Burns anyway)
Host is goners currently going Host/Gillet for Crichton/Ponga
If I don't pull the trigger on a double gun in this week I'll likely take a swing on CHT and Critchton and wait another week on Ponga
My thoughts for you Welshy though would be to get yourself a round 12 team sorted bud.
Every move this week is other people (well ahead of you) getting more non Round 12 players. Need to find edge, and first bye is definitely it.
People will hit round 9, shit themselves and burn trades like no one’s business.

I think you should look at a big gun. Cook,Fifita maybe Farah. Too much money sitting there not earning you points.
Friend Napa trade outs, anyone a red dot up for grabs if you can get quality.
Evan Napa and Keighran would probably get you Ponga which is handy halves cover as well.
Yeah I can get a Cook or Ponga in with some shuffling. I probably will hold Friend because he'll play next week and I'm already wasting 2 trades on Napa. Cheers

Why trade Gillett if he's not the biggest issue though?
Just a suggestion to afford someone a bit bigger when he isn't setting the world on fire. That try saved him last week.

I can't really talk you out of it as I am going Host to Okunbor. 30 point average for the next 3 games nets me approx $130k which will take about 2 months to milk from Host ( also there's an injury concern for him).
If your team has other concerns then you dont have to jump on him but for me I need some quick cash generation.
