Haha, brilliant! I battle with that always. Vote left but have an economics background which at times can be quite conflicting for me.

I've more recently realised that this idea that the right can manage money a lot better doesn't really ring true.
Steven Joyce is probably a very good recent example of this.

Direction of what is done with the money is again, a whole different issue though.

Not sure if confirmed, but Magic Johnson is getting out of the way at the Lakers - stepping down as President of Basketball Operations. Good riddance, he was god awful in that role!

Sorry off topic I know but interesting for some of you none the less.

Backstory: As this guy was once a part of the cows U20's squad he lived up here for a brief period. Spent a few nights on the piss with him (had just done his ACL so was out for a bit) and he was a very humble, well mannered guy. Standing at 198cm he is a GIANT!

Will be a good pick if he gets a gig. Mark my words keep your eye on him. Bit of a late bloomer, much like Cody Walker.

Just looked him up, appears to be averaging 20 fantasy points in ISP this season and 27 last season.

Rabs someone got hold of a mods badge at Sportal (previous forum site) and he went mad with power, banning anyone and everyone for 500+ year periods. It was hilarious until it wasn't.

The site admin eventually took the badge off him and not long after I think he got IP banned.

I think he's come a long, long way since then which is fantastic but he's still prone to posting things he knows he shouldn't.

I look forward to his return. Smile

Willing to bet most of the time he goes way over the line he is rather drunk at the time.

I'm in the same boat as LB. It's so hard to trade Friend and I'm loathe to do so... but I can do quite a bit with that money. Sideways trade (dollar wise) to Bateman for example.

The fact there have been no updates on his injury is confusing. No news is good news? If he comes back will he be 100%? I'm once bitten, twice shy after N Brown last year.

The last thing you want is an injured Friend coming back too early. Got him in last season just in time for restricted minutes and scores of 36 and 20. You are much better off using those funds elsewhere.

This is of no help to you, but I had Friend and jumped straight off immediately. Robinson said he'd miss two rounds, that was enough for me. And I wanted Bateman. But knowing how they managed his minutes last year through injury, I did not want to hold him and end ip getting a couple weeks of 30 to 40s when he does return.

I guess a consideration is how you have already spent trades and if you can cover him.

I didn't even look at trading him, but the options it opens up in my squad is very helpful.

Allows me to get Ponga this week and Crichton next week is hugely helpful

Will be brutally honest - that much money tied up on the bench, this early in the season with all those trades at your disposal and all the value about - IMO its a no brainer, he has to be traded. Fix the mistake now.

Just my humble opinion of course, no doubt there will be differing views. MTB knows his shit though and so while he says his post might not help you, I think it does to be honest.
