What is a PRP injection anyway, how serious is it (as in you only do it if you are desperate or is it standard) and is it actually likely to get him back quicker?Ponga Yeo the Mann wrote:
looking like round 8 from what I've heard. Given he was having PRP injections they are desperate to get him back. I'd rather them not trbojevic him after waiting out the first injury as hammies have the hit recurrence of injury of any muscle

I'd probably lean toward Okunbor based on opponent as vertigo said, but then Xerri looks like a talent and could surprise. Might be worth reassessing when you know the sharks lineup for certain. Weren't dugan and sj in doubt again?Random wrote:Play Okunbur or Xerri this week?

I wasn't feeling too bad about upgrading Garner to Twal... but that +9

Are these based on nrl.com stats, because they're not shown on the fantasy site or nrlfantasy.com.au

His previous NRL stints at fullback have been underwhelming. Averages under 30 from 10 games there.
Even his 3 games there for NZ last year weren't amazing. 24, 30 (with a try) and 54 (with a try)
Personally don't think he's worth the risk

When people post stat updates they normally come from the NRL app, which seems to get updates first.

They basically take your own blood and spin it in a centrifuge so you get a more concentrated dose of the platelets to try and stimulate healing in that area. Its not standard and is more speculative as to its efficacy.
I went to a lecture with a bunch of surgeons recently and they said there's no evidence that they work
From working for the knights and with Dr Halpin, he will inject anything that moves when it comes to footy players
So out of that, the short version is nobody really knows if it will get him back quicker but they are trying it anyway

Those trades are quality mate apart from maybe host. You will be climbing up the rankings in no time at that rate

So does Maria Tutaia never play netball for NZ again. The first time she came out & backed Folau 100% so she will this time as well. Her presence in the NZ netball team might cause friction & disharmony within the squad due to her husbands comments.

Re the Folau issue (maybe the Chch shooter was a mate of his). On talkback yesterday someone said the bible also basically says if you cover your body in tattoos you will also go to hell. Folau left that part out lol.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 31
I had Bird in the loop who will be staying there now after last night. I was going to loop Carty and CHT but looks like I'll play both now as I don't trust Rava this week and he's my only other scoring option. I was getting CHT for the half cover but now I would have to play Carty anyway, is it worth getting Xerri instead?
Getting Xerri instead allows me to trade Burns to Ponga instead of Edwards, giving him one more final chance. I don't know if it's worth it though, as probably worth just holding Burns now.

I'm Christian (Folau is Mormon I think?), and Folau is a goose
Like the tattoo bit, everything is open to misinterpretation if you fail to look at context. I could find 50+ examples of bible verses that are regularly misinterpreted and used to condemn on both sides of the argument
Bottom line is (from my beliefs not everyone's), we are all sinners and we aren't the judges of others, and ironically for Folau to think himself above others is considered a sin. His job is to love others and show the same grace that his God shows him, and what he said sends completely the wrong message. I'll leave it at that because this isn't the place for a religious rant that no-one wants to hear!

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 31
It's pretty interesting to look at birds scoring. He went from 2 missed tackles total over the first to weeks to 5,6 and 5 each week after. Combined with the Ta's and lba's drying up entirely its made such a shocking swing.
If he stayed the same defensively but lost the attacking stuff for a bit you wouldn't feel so aggrieved owning him. I wonder if teams have started targeting that side more after seeing tape or something and it's likely to continue or if it's more just tied to the ponies slump in general.
