Both play Round 12, good chance both play origin. Probably the most sideways move you can make short of Barba to Hayne.

I've read that in Mau's limited pre-season he trained in the middle, and will likely play there when he returns.

Niukore looks an excellent footballer. Lane spent all pre-season on the left edge and that was previously Mau's spot.

I'm reluctant to trade Niukore as well, but he probably isn't far from topping out in price. I still think Bird will get close to 600k, although wether he can before round 12 is now doubtful. Niukore does play round 12.. but trading him to Cook is a significant upgrade and means that round 12 is not really relevant.

Mau at 13 would be pretty epic. if he plays 80, good lord.

I want to thank Random, Welshy, and Archer for talking me into Twal last week. Thanks lads!
Tolman and AFB were also options, but they didn't deliver this round. Tolman had a low scoring round against expectations and AFB got a nice suspension for giving Pearce a facial.
I feel good about the Twal pick

And it's costing him $200k to make that sideways move.

Surely there is a better use for that money

Jarrod Wallace took the early plea for shoulder charge, and will miss two matches.

Good for Arrow and James (if Arrow's fit. Any news?)

Get rid of Mikaele or Garrick. Sele looks like being one of the nifty preseason picks, still has more 'squeezin the juice'  to offer.

It's not so much everyone saying as the stats saying - though only five weeks of stats, as pointed out it's probably not long-term sustainable.

Haven't seen that much of Manly this year - one game when TTurbo was playing - so can't say whether there's anything in particular going on with DCE (suspect playing with Elgey and Elliott as 1 and 6 would increase anyone's stats), but have seen the Panthers plenty and Cleary is really struggling atm.

EDIT I actually didn't realiae Cleary was averaging so reasonably (45) while playing shit and not kicking the ball. As soon as one, and preferably both, of those things reverses then yes he'll be a bargain.

Niukore might be impacted by Manu Ma'u returning this week. Have no idea how their 2RF/lock will look with Ma'u back. Maybe Niukore might still be safe and Ma'u goes to lock and Moeroa gets pushed to the bench and someone like Evans drops out

Mau at lock could be a fun ride.

Would you trade first Gillett or Bird?

2RFs: Arrow, Murray, Garner, Capewell, Gillett
    CTRs: Bateman, Nikora, Xerri, Bird

Also have Carty but need him at HLF, and Ravalawa shouldn't get near my 17

Obviously the 2RF/CTR boys can help out where needed

The Okkie uve just brought in?

If it's tight budget wise, may be just the one trade for the week? Bring in Haas for Mikaele, unless any tiger fans have some lowdown on Mikaele

Isaako to Rts or Rava to Rts as I had intentions on keeping Isaako for the long haul. What about Radley guys, should I accept I was wrong ?

528 itb, can make any move anywhere.

Gillett was on track for 40+ last week until he got injured. So if you want to trade him out, make sure you are doing so based on future expectations, and aren't just knee jerking to a low score (that was going to be a good score except for HIA)

Nobody's breaking their neck to trade Farah in for Cook or CS9. Similar difference in stats, but it will all even out over a season.

Oh yeah i have no doubt he will score 40+ fairly consistently but he has scored in consecutive games too help that along and i feel like i have the players too cover him. Bird has been fairly unlucky since i brought him in, couple of bombed tries too go along with the Broncos just being poor.

I think Bird has another 100k in him quite easily just not sure about Gilletts future.

Just hoping someone could go a bit more in depth.
