Too much Whitbread backs me up, leaves me full of shit that’s too hard to move on later. Wouldn’t recommend

Wasn't going to trade this week but have just discovered I can do Garner to Smith in one trade (leaving nothing in the bank). Pull the trigger?
Could also go Rein to Smith but Rd 12 is making me think twice about that.
Already have Bateman, Cleary and Ponga.

    On other topical matters:
Whitbread seems trappy to me, Wallace is back next week so would be good to see how he goes then minutes wise

Whitbread is this years Tevaga/LAM. Will see 40-45 minutes off the bench and average around 1PPM.

EDIT: Mind you I am hoping to see Lomax as a starter in final team list tomorrow afternoon.

EDIT: EDIT: Could even take a lock spot during origin period.

Re: Whitbread, Thats around $100k in price boost before you get a chance to check his minutes.....sounds like a dice roll which could pay off handsomely

EDIT: Lomax would be the ideal Rava cashout

Silly to cash out on Rein and Garner for Whitbread and Cam Smith?

Same dilemma (except Host and Garner)

Garner/Rein averaging 45 and Smith averaging 60 over the next few rounds will have the same $ rise so you are not losing any money. (dependent on Whitbread picking up the slack for one of them)
Smith doesn't play 12 but neither does Garner (Rein does)
If, like me, it cleans your bank out there is an opportunity cost.....but having a bank is about being able to upgrade to keepers when they are available and Smith is a keeper
Rein makes more sense for team balance (for me anyway) but plays round 12

I think I am convincing myself

Depends on if it leaves you having to play Whitbread. If it leaves you with a strong enough 13-17 and 18-21 are making cash. Then I reckon its good.

Seems a bit premature on rein, should make small amounts of money and plays round 12.

Maybe if you need a caption option it’s worth it.

I'd have to play Whitbread this week with Nikora out. I've still got CHT in my halves so probably should get Cleary instead since he's cheap.

Thinking Rava to xerri this week.

Wait a week, then double trade. Garner/Lawrie/Cartwright/rein to clearly and a 212 player.

My concern at moment is I have too many mid ranger on bench. But dumping them will muck up team balance. So not sure about timings and how To approach.

    Would appreciate thoughts??

    Please/thanks

I wouldn't let your bench concerns actually be concerns. Pretty typical, and I reckon most of us have at least one of your Benchies actually in the 13. They all still have good points and good coin to make.

Cleary is probably a priority for you....it's nice to be able to choose to rest a rookie half

Appreciate the feedback. My concerns about bench is how I will upgrade them down the track. Ideally hold rd12 players then upgrade. Just need to get a sense of when to dump.

Maybe ill just sit and wait this week on Cleary Hasn't got a super low BE.

    Lock in Rava to Xerri.

Means this week I need to choose between playing one of Carty, CHT, Sivo.

Is Carty really in doubt? I can't find any further info on it.

Not a bad idea to hold in a week where there isn't much of a stand out option (you already have guys like Haas and Burr).
Xerri could be worth a shout for Rava?

I could go gutherson to cleary and okunbor to whitened but means I have to play rawa?

Yes but if he gets a 55 he will be around 726K which is only 33K rise but a hell of a lot less appealing than 693K.

With only 1K ITB after my Cleary trade I am really banking on a cow to come up in the next week or two so i can milk Rava/Brown for a 100+K each.

Given I have to trade two players to get Cleary in im not too worried about his price rise. The players I would trade to get him in all have low BEs, and I would suspect that their combined price rise is likely to match or better cleary, even if he goes well.

Edit: yep, just convinced myself. Clearly can wait.
