I think what was meant was 'Sutton is this years Tevaga/LAM. Will see 40-45 minutes off the bench and average around 1PPM.'

Is it purely the HIA thing scaring people off Garner ? As he is killing it otherwise.

Anyone have any gossip on Sipleys minutes last week? Why they so low etc

It's gotta be a sneaky soundbite. Not even Wayne would believe that he's trying too hard.

I think it is also a ploy for the Captain to take some of the criticism/pressure off the halves.

Sticky Ricky on the Lottoland (Brooky) surface -
"We've had some poor luck there before with an ACL with Dunamis Lui and Shannon Boyd did a medial (ligament).
"I won't play him [Nicoll-Klokstad] at 90%, I have got some good depth with Bailey Simonsson and Michael Oldfield, so if Charnze wasn't right I won't risk him.
"He won't do much today, but we've got another session tomorrow and Saturday and the medical boys have all assured me he'll be OK."

Considering moving Arrow to JFH. Crazy? Looks like a great rd 12 option if he doesn't make the origin side

Sideways.  JFH is Kiwi so he won't play origin.  Wish I started with him but his missed tackles scared me off.

Is Garner to Sutton too sideways? I like Sutton as he has a good workrate and plays round 12. Also, more importantly, it frees up just enough cash to sell Garrick to Haas. My only other way to get Haas would be to sell both Garrick and Rava for Whitbread and Haas but then I have no WFB cover at all with the risk of CNK not playing.

I know the HIA's have scared people off Garner but the kid honestly seems a gun when he has ball in hand. Will hit 45+ easily with no injury/HIA. Sutton i think is more of a 40-45 - Would've only got 44 without his try on the weekend. Garners BE is lower and i think his ceiling is higher.

I get that but I think Haas is enough of a must-have that I think it's worth it. I think Haas + Sutton + Rava scores a lot more than Garrick + Garner + Rava or Haas + Whitbread + Garner

Another option for Garner could be to buy Lachlan Burr on the premise that he is a season keeper

Really looking forward to seeing Patty Herbert in first grade. He's certainly capable.
Whether he plays well enough to keep Kata/Beale out is another story.

Tough first up match away to the Storm.

Followup question to my earlier one:

I just realised I can actually afford to sell Ravalawa direct to Haas. Only downside is that I then have to keep Garrick another week. Is it worth doing (and saving a trade in the process since I can keep Garner)?
