Incumbents are Maloney and Cleary, right?
They probably haven't done enough to lose their spot. Aside from being in a losing team (and the Blues stuck with Gallen for ages Razz ). Surely the Blues will try some sort of pick and stick.

However, ARey will be unlucky to miss out. He's been good.

Regardless, I might make him my Morgan upgrade very soon.

Cleary... to want him or to not want him. I was keen for him or Moses this week, but once again I'm left not feeling so bad that I'm just rolling with Morgan/CHT. A consistent HLF seems to be a shit of a position to fill with confidence, unless you can afford DCE.

Anyway, curious to see what tonight does to Cook's price and BE again. Nothing major, but hopefully something to make getting him one day a possibility.

    And some random questions from a 2-year-inner;

Does a player lose extra points missing a tackle that leads to a try?

And does a player have to stop the ball in-goal for it to be deemed a try save? If a player pulls someone up in a try scoring position (eg. Morgan on R.Smith tonight), approx 5m out, is that still a try save?

Solid hit out first up for Aekins 226 running meters, 3 TBs, 3 OFs, no mistakes. Looks to be getting involved in the line in attack too. Decent base that can be easily added to.

    Q1 - nope
Q2 - attacker has to be held up in goal for try saves

Yes, a missed tackle is counted when scoring a try. Nothing extra though.

For a try save the player has to hold the other player up over the line.  If it's nit in the in goal, it's not counted as a TS, normally, but there has been random exceptions in the past.

I’ll pick him up cheaper since he missed his BE no point paying overs for a player

Cool, thanks for the info. I got a bit confused yesterday when chaps were saying that if whoever it was had scored (Teddy?) then Lomax would have been -10 at half time instead of -2. Couldn't figure that out and assumed that if missed tackles lead to a try it meant more deductions. And as I was, I believe the term is "death-riding" Cleary tonight, I was curious if his missed try save led to more demerits.

Regarding Q2; that's interesting. I guess if it's not like that it creates a bit of conjecture, so fair call.

It would have to be some crazy voodoo Turbo-esque affect on the team. We were fucking awful.

Cleary has me well confused now. I wanted him in my team, but held off one more week with the thought I might have to pay an extra 20-30k if he gets the 50 I expected. Then he goes and gets his second 30s score for the season. I really thought he was picking up in his scoring. I know he was playing the Rabbitohs and they are a heavyweight team, but he had plenty of ball in that second half and still scored poorly. I have gone from being super keen on him to thinking I might just pass on him with just one game, how flippant am I!!

    His scores this season do not make pretty reading: 49, 41, 50, 34, 52, 78, 36
Are people even still backing him to find a 50-55 average? I am not so sure.

    Why arnt I just chasing Areyn? Plays R12 and has 5/7 scores 50+ this season: 63, 46, 80, 50, 41, 50, 54
