Yeah he was saying that instead of getting 5 points for the TS he would have gotten negative 2 for the missed tackle.  So it would have been -9 I think not -10 I believe.  I was trying to work it out too.  Don't worry though he was just trying to put his point across that Lomax was a shit trade in.  The point is he saved the try so what he WOULD have been on doesn't really fucking matter cause he saved the try.

He's going okay. Just look at Cleary.

But yeah, the correlation between the Cowboys actually playing decent footy and Morgan scoring well is massive. Probably an obvious comment for a dominant half, but when they started playing footy tonight his score doubled. When Tolo returns and they think they can win games and play good solid 80min (or even 60min) games of proper footy, I still don't mind Morgan's prospects as a decent HLF option this year.

The point you are missing is the tackle which was a +1. When you get a TS you also get the tackle point.

Okay, cool, I think. I think I'll have to re-read in the morning when I'm not a few beers in because I think I'm confusing myself again regarding try saves and non-try saves.

Great win the pending premiers. Good, gutsy stuff against a good team who played their guts out. Lots of mistakes, but a high intensity game. The Panthers will sneak into the 8. Kikau is a beast. 6 wins from 7 to the Rabbits. I’ll take it.

Well, JFH was a little underwhelming, but I sort of expected that against Souths. He had 38 a few weeks back as well and I knew that. I certainly did my research. He tries too hard against the better teams, but you can’t deny his work rate....it’s his MTs and mistake rate that fucks him. He hits hard out of the line and first up, then falls off, but the runner is stopped. He’s not a flopper. He’ll average 53 for the year and play 12. Plus he’s durable.

@mattnz If you’d have said that he made mistakes you’d have a point, but the ENTIRE basis of your argument was minutes played. And he just played 80 again. 7 weeks running. So you’re wrong there. He’ll be up and down in points, but he’s a keeper reserve. As for Aekin, I was spruking him up three weeks ago, as I have done a few times this year. I said Edwards would be dropped and got bagged, but I was right. You had a little dig for bringing in JFH because you said he was overvalued.....yet you bring in a rookie priced at almost $600k, who didn’t hit his BE, so I’ll look at him for a few more weeks, after I’ve done my research

And here I was moaning about Morgan scoring subpar and wishing I traded him for Cleary

I would have said MWZ loses out. Whare back in the centres, DWZ back to wing, keep Aekins at FB.
