I think the explanation that I was searching for is that there are only 4 emergencies in NRLF, whereas there are 8 emergencies in VSDT.
I have 3 red dots in VSDT this week (Xerri, Garner, D. Brown), but I still have 5 back-up players, and I'm happy to save trades by playing Xerri in place of Nikora, and either Bird or Waddell in place of Garner for only one week.

There’s no rule to wait for completely bottoming out to a high BE. That can be a good way of missing a LOT of points depending on the move, or if waiting for injured players to return
Burns is a better red dot example. Sometimes you gotta just get rid and get back later. Yes trades are like gold but so are points, and so is Burns back in later for Hughes and 100k change!

I always ask myself what I'd be more disappointed with.
If you took Lomax's score and got a high score from Okkie?
Or if you took a risk on Okkie and he only got 10 points.

I don’t get as much moves to Sutton or whitbread, but the latter gives great bank for upgrade money
TLDR: your method is great for a straight switch to Tolo but others will use Lawrie or Burr or sideways Arrow for that same move and are getting points in the meantime with a different gun for Garner

I like that thought process. And based on that I'd take the punt on Okunbur. Then again I hope he gets thumped by the Cowboys.

Why are you trading Tolman? I'd sell Garner first I think.

I'm going to hold Garner & loop Whitbread/Sivo but I'm pretty confident that Whitbread can hit a 40 score. Also my L. Lewis to Cleary trade is what I planned & I've already done Rava to Whitehead so I'll just roll with that.
