I don't think Moylan's return is going to have any impact on Flanagan.

Moylan at 1 and Flanagan at 6 is stronger than Kennedy at 1 and Moylan at 6.

Surely Moylan goes back to fullback. Kennedy had a shocker last night so I guess General goes back there if he had a good rest.

    Edit: Or what JBG said.

I think he'll take a 4 and 3 start as par. Problem is our middle Rounds draw is very tough:

    Roosters
    Pamfus
    Storm
    Rabbits
    Raiders
    Cows
    Rabbits
    Roosters
    Parra
    Raiders

8 out of next 10 against Top 8 teams. I haven't analysed it any further than that, but that's pretty damned tough! In saying that we love losing the "easy" games and sneaking an upset against the high flyers.

Jacob Liddle is back from injury playing NSW Cup and has always been rated, but gut feel with his injuries is he isn't the Golden Boy like he was a few years ago. I don't buy into Farah wanting to mentor him either; Robbie wants 80 week in week out. The more likely scenario is Grub gets the 14 jersey when him and Benji are fit. Wouldn't mind seeing RyMat get a couple of more weeks at 5/8 though. When Grub was injured and Liddle was fit at the back end of last year Liddle came off the bench for us.

In short, yes, there's a chance. Grub is good coming off the bench and Liddle has been rated since Juniors. We do have a long history of persevering with average Hookers who are earmarked for greatness though-Cherrington, Luani, Politoni...

True. For some reason I keep thinking Dugan would be FB. But this makes more sense.

Nothing official. Just going off of what David Riccio said on Sunday footy show. He said from what he's been told its pretty bad.

I believe he has another 60k to make. My problem is the players I’m considering had massive scores this round, and where I stand, I definitely need to bank some trades while eeking out every last cent from players like Lawrie, Morgan, Host, and  I still can’t believe Kahu is in my team, but I’ve had Kahu for this long I may as well keep him for round 12, then ditch after that.

One of the issues with grabbing every last cent, is that the last $20k come very slowly, unless they can jag a try or something to speed things along.

So Lawrie might take 4 weeks to go up $50k, but if Cook/Farah/Kikau/Crichton/whoever goes up $100k in that time, then you are better off pulling the trigger now.

Trades are an issue, but you'll be wanting to upgrade Lawrie at some point, do do it early and get the points bonus of the better player

This would be a good round for DCE to have a low score. 70 odd points each round can't be sustainable right? Something's gotta give.
Maybe Canberra's defense can limit his scoring opportunity

You’re absolutely correct. I’ve been more aggressive this year in my trades(releasing players a week or two early to get some guns into my side), which is why I’ve been a tradeaholic through the first several rounds, but I’m also doing much better rank wise at this point than last year.

So, Kikau is one of those players I’ve been looking at. My original plans were to bring him in around round 9, but then he has to go and score 70 something. Would I be right in thinking his price won’t go up too much, but his BE would be significantly lower?

Think the sharks need another option at the back till moylan returns. Kennedy isn't up to it atm and persisting could ruin him as a footballer. Personally i'd drop morris or dugan ( if fit) back there and capewell to ctr.
