What position are you suffering most in mate?

    Nice banner btw.

My take on the interesting cows and low BEs:

Dearden - not urgent. He’s playing the bunnies away. We get to have a look at him, see what happens to niko, CHT, and make sure O’Sullivan keeps dropping off the reserves.

Flanagan - wouldn’t say now or never, as his next 3 fixtures are much better than this. If I could afford to, would prefer to hold likes of a Morgan (Home against Titans) over Flanagan vs the Storm this week and make a Dearden vs Flanagan cashout decision next week. Neither have great fixtures and neither play round 12: Can’t see a huge price rise for him this week.

Waddell - yes he plays 12 but I wouldn’t upgrade another cow to him and given he’s almost 400k and an interchange player, he is hardly a great downgrade or cash out either and this guy for me is boat missed. Be different if he was named to start this week. AFB back around just decreases my interest further.

Lomax - no round 12 but I’m not in the steer clear camp on him that a few others are. He’s a centre not a wingers arsehole and they’ve finally dropped that little greedy arsehole for him. Sound defensively, kicks goals, away this week but it is only Parra. He is a great cash out and should hold ok as a season keeping CTR/WFB number 20/21.

Dearden is going to have it tough. Defending against Souths left edge, they will test him out.

TL;DR: Yes we wanted more, but Cook has still been a great C option; personally I am finding picking and sticking a balanced reward; and getting old sucks.

Good summary mate and had to disagree with any of that.

Another thing to note with Dearden and unlike some of the other cows, he hasn't really forced his way into the side.
He has gained an opportunity somewhat through default and we also have Sean O'Sullivan still being named in the squads, so no guarantee he continues to hold his spot.

He has though. Niko was told last week he was going to be a bench player.

There is a chance his debut has come a couple of weeks earlier than Siebold had hoped, but no doubt it was happening.

Cheers mate, I have no HLF cover at all. Currently running Morgan/Carty with a crocked Brown in EMG. As it stands I'd much prefer a straight cash out though like Lomax to maximise cash although WFB/CTR is pretty sorted though with Sivo acting as cover for the WFB and Xerri at CTR.

Dearden seems to be the guy that ticks both boxes but as you've stated more of a wait and see.

    Thanks again

I’m very intrigued by Dearden but figure might also need him to come in for CHT soon

The eventual 3rd HLF we will want is D Brown if he comes back OK. Back in light training

The forwards will be running at Dearden all day. I don't know how good defensively he is but if he can tackle he should end up making 20-25 tackles.

He is, apparently, pretty sound defensively for a young bloke, and isn't afraid to put his body on the line.

NRL is a different prospect though, and if Souths ice their plays, well any team has trouble stopping that left side attack.

Whitbread is off contract this year, would be a reasonable catch for some club.

So i've changed my trades completely, traded Host to Lomax for cash, ARey in for Capewell, keeping Garner because I think he will get to 600k when Tolo is at 750K hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks. I have 303K to fund Garner to Tolo the rest of the cash will need to be used to upgrade CHT and Morgan, probably gonna have to cash out a cow for that too in the coming weeks.
