Plus with Staggs on the bench again Macca might not play 80 again.

You think that could be an ongoing thing? I assumed it was just because they had that game won in the first few minutes that they played around with that switch. I’d be amazed if they tried it again in a serious, tight contest.

Although, if they were on the receiving end of s beating they could also try it again?

    Anyway, let’s hope not.

I’m hoping that playing against the NSW hooker and the Smith returning to origin talk inspires him to go big. I hope.

Rava - Lomax and Lawrie to Arey for me this week.

Still unsure if Lawrie or Capewell should eave to make way for Arey. Thoughts. Cheers.

capewell gone for AREY for me. Capewell earning will slow up now after last weeks issues, he will probably be back to the mid 40's average though.

I can't keep up with the forum anymore. Wayyyy too many pages to go back and read.

Should I just hold Lawrie or make the move to Mahoney, Kikau or Crichton?

I'm bringing Deardan in for Host.

Yeah, Capewell before Lawrie for me too. Capewell probably more likely to pull out a big score, but if they’re both just there to make money I’d think Lawrie the more reliable option.

Staggs may not be in the final 17 apparently. Depends if Seibold  fights fire wirh fire and elects for a all forward bench

As a Taupau owner I'd like more minutes for him but it's the points that count. He's averaging 54 which is keeper status. Klemmer is averaging 57. You say you don't care about byes but it's very relevant in this situation because they are keepers so how many points they score over the season is the important part. Taupau has 17 more games @ 54 points = 918 points. Klemmer has 16 games @ 57 = 912 points. So not a lot in it. It comes down to whether you think these guys will continue their average or score above or below it.

Can you factor in how Klemmer will pull up after origin too.

If you hold Lawrie he shouldnt lose any cash. Might be some other options next week like Taumalolo who is a genuine keeper

    Thinking about captaining Haas.
Any reason that's a bad idea?

Averaging 58 and almost all in tackles and run meters.

Any reason to think he won't see the 60+ minutes again?

This is true but Crichton has proven he's a keeper but Mahoney could be a keeper on the bench banging out 50+ every week.

I have Bateman, not the others.
Bateman makes me nervous in the way he scores his points. A low score would not surprise me.

Hey folks. My new sstrategy for 2019 is to not look at my team until Thursday night, that way can enter the trades without seeing 100 different options. In saying that, really stumped what to do this week. I want to trade out Capewell for sure, just not who for.

    Rein
    Fifita (C) - Haas
    Curray - Burr - Nikora
    Morgan - ARey
    Bateman - Xeri
    Hughes - Tedesco - Ponga

    Tolman - Vaughan - Bird - Lawrie

    Capewell - Mikaele - Whitbread - Keighran

So the players I want to trade out (In no particular order) are Capewell, Morgan, Lawrie, Vaughan.

Capewell is defo gone this week. Morgan I'm prepared to hold as he plays R12. I feel Lawrie + Vaughan (Especially) aren't urgent trade outs.

I feel I need another hooker on the bench, but I also want to buy Kikau and/or SST among others.

I have $419K, so can buy anyone. Maybe Capewell - Kikau (Plays R12) and if Vaughan/Lawrie score low this week, sell one/both next week.

Please let me know what you think.... Thanks!

TLDR: I have $419K, can buy anyone, want to trade out Capewell. Should I buy a hooker (Not my preference) or Kikau/SST?

With a Mahoney trade too, I think rd 12 is a big advantage.

I think I'll keep the (c) on Cook. He's due a big one. Last year in rounds 3 & 4 he scored 50 & 49 but he hit back in rounds 5-7 where he scored 77, 73 & 65. Also I don't have a clue who to even captain lol so I'll just leave it on Cook.

Do you see him as a keeper or will you be trading him out again later in the season?
