I’m hearing coach Paul Green is set to take a massive gamble to stop the rot, moving giant middle forward John Asiata to five-eighth for the game.
Life has been tough for the Cowboys since Johnathan Thurston’s retirement and Asiata could prove the man to fill the No.6 jersey with his silky skills and ability to read a game.
He may not be named at five-eighth, but the mail is he will play there come Friday night.
Doesn't mentioned Clifford specifically being out, although if Asiata plays at 6 that would be the asusmption. But it's the Mole, so it probably means Asiata is going to play 6 in Qld Cup.

Asiata played in the halves in juniors I'm pretty sure. Slick passing game and he can actually kick from what I've seen on the odd occasion. Who knows maybe it helps, our attack has been shit.

Macca is a very popular trade out target this week. Anyone left who thinks he’s going to kill it tonight and finally live up to what we hoped for, in terms of fantasy score? Or is it just me? For a variety of reasons, I just see him delivering the goods, finally.
I think he'll get 45-50 due to the tackling he'll need to do. I still traded him out though.

which is the best keeper FRF besides Fifita, thumbs up for Klemmer and thumbs down for Taupau. i'm not concerned with the byes or origin

I have kept him because I just know if I do it, he's going to stick it to me by finally nailing a 60+ while Mahoney barely cracks 50. I want to believe after all the shit he's copped, he's going to fire back and he should be in for a lot of defensive work tonight.
He probably won't but I just don't want to see him get a good score and spend until Sunday's Eels game wondering if I made the right decision to trade him out.

I've gone McCullough to Smith this week. McCUllough been OK, but a tad below expectations. It's generally never a bad idea to bring Smith in.
Looking to bring in Taumalolo, Farah over the next few weeks.
Maybe Crichton or Taupau too, depends on cash generation for my cows and if they drop enough to make them an easy swoop.

As a Taupau owner I'd like more minutes for him but it's the points that count. He's averaging 54 which is keeper status. Klemmer is averaging 57. You say you don't care about byes but it's very relevant in this situation because they are keepers so how many points they score over the season is the important part. Taupau has 17 more games @ 54 points = 918 points. Klemmer has 16 games @ 57 = 912 points. So not a lot in it. It comes down to whether you think these guys will continue their average or score above or below it.
