Yeah re. Twal, I recommended him to a friend 2 weeks ago, so kinda hesitant to recommend him again, especially as a non-Rd 12 player.

He was off to a flyer vs. Eels, playing the entire first half and into the 2nd, subbed off and expected him to come back, but figured the scoreline made it kind of pointless.

Last week his minutes were back up there, but I was at that game, so wasn't watching him that close. Penalties and errors definitely hurt.

Last year he averaged 39 in 37 mins off the bench. This year he's averaging just over 58 mins, so it's reasonable to expect him to hit that 50+ gun average.

I got him in my team 3 weeks ago when he scored 69. Hopefully he'll go back to his regular scores this week. He's a bit of a POD, so his scores would really help me creeping up a little higher in the rankings. A try would be a welcome addition to his stats

Whoever down voted this post, hopefully it was a fat thumb, otherwise, hand your fucking forum card in now and delete your account.  Don't want to have to do the work tracking people, but deadset, down voting a new poster is ridiculous.  There is nothing wrong with this post.  It is polite and informative.  Asking for help on your first post is nothing to down vote when framed like this.

I always assume that if someones downvoting a post where player is mentioned and I can see no other reason to downvote, that they don't think that player is a good prospect.
Not sure why someone would think Milf is a bad option though.

Yeah those last 2 scores might be good in scaring people off him or blindly rage-trading him back out Very Happy

After diving into those numbers, I feel a bit better about him coming good and would probably favour him over SST now, who's minutes haven't increased that much compared to last year but his average has jumped a lot.

Still favour Sam B as a trade-in this week for Rd 12 numbers, but could do a lot worse than Twal.

A 7 reporter said yesterday he has just begun training with the main group

Nrlphysio posted the other day that the injury took longer to recover from than expected, and noted that xan happen with groin injuries.

Giving up on Whitbread after one week? Think id prefer to hold Whitbread for a week and see how Dearden scores. If milf is going to be the dominant half then Dearden might struggle for points especially if he misses a few tackles.

Don’t want anymore NPR’s. Need people to be making money. Can’t see whitbread coming back into the squad now. Was a gamble, didn’t take long, I’ll take my small gain and move on. Not really in contention anymore and need the cash the downgrade gets me to get in a gun next week or the week after

@Aardvark spinning the wise words today.

Welcome @Rookie101. Good to have u here.

    Happy Birthday @Multiple.scorgasms

Saw Endgame today, best Avengers movie by far!

I think I'm bringing in Flanno and Reyno this week. If CHT bombs out he can become the other gun half down the track.

I was all set for sHerbert to come in, but I think that's unwise, limited. Risky  JS and centre only.

What’s everyone’s opinion on Anthony Milford? I know he has previously been an inconsistent scorer but this year he looks really good IMO. Not to mention he is only in 2% of teams. Milford’s the go to man for the broncos, his kick meters are insane (gets around 15 points+ a game from kick meters) and the difference between him and say Reynolds are he has a superior running game and can bust some tackles. I think his base stats have been pretty solid. Opinions please? I can get basically any half as I’ve got DCE injured but I have a good feeling about Milford.

    He’s shit. A trap. Avoid.

Same scenario for me. It's essentiallly ARey + Garrick in emg vs Cleary + Whitbread in emg and ARey should outscore Cleary enough hopefully between now and R12 (including R12) to outweigh Whitbread score in R12 v Garrick and also having Garrick gaining money (albeit very slowly). It does limit my FRF cover to Lawrie though who will be leaving my team soon making Taupau a necessary buy soon

    Legend.  Keep us posted bro.

Could his benching just be more a precaution thing?  If for some reason he still doesn't pull up well, easier to replace a benchie?  A bit far fetched I know but just thinking out loud.

Assuming you are using him for points WL

If you can nab someone who is going to average 50 for the next four rounds and Gutho plays to his average (38.7) the trade won't cost you anything in points over the next five rounds if the trade-in doesn't play rd 12 and will net you approx 50 extra if they do play rd 12,

If he scores his average he loses about 10k over those four weeks so keeping him isn't necessarily going to cost you anything except points.

Going with the gut (and the stats) I would say upgrade him if you can but don't sideways trade cause there only seems to be elites and meh in WFB at the moment and you don't want to have to trade out his replacement later

Cheers mate. This helps a lot.

Really good article. He covers well the difference between edge and middle forwards these days. Lane as a player though needs to be able to do more than just reach out from 3.5metres to score a try every two or three games. I know he has more to his game than that, but I’m not sure his type of build is up to the weekly grind of long term NRL. Good luck to the fella.
