Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 44
I'm looking at doing something similar. Bateman to Arey was locked in but now I'm actually looking at getting CS9 in and Reynolds next week for Garner/Morgan. Team lists will confirm my plans as Garner might be named on the bench againRapture_NRL wrote:@WT2K too humble mate
Cook
Tolman Haas
Arrow Murray Lawrie
Munster Morgan
Bird Nikora
Ponga RTS CNK
Rein Burr Garner Xerri
Bateman Burns Brown Herbert
$27k
Initial thoughts are Bateman to ARey and Brown to Cashout (Hudson Young). I feel Smith, Farah and Pearce might be better options. Could also trade Garner instead of Brown. Hardly any Rd 12 Players atm but not many gun options playing 12

Maybe reaching but seems like almost all the popular players were injured or missed games.

As the Broncos’ physiotherapy team first surmised yesterday, McCullough has a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury.
While the hooker will certainly be missing for some weeks, the Broncos investigate all options meaning McCullough will visit a surgeon later this week.
Broncos’ Head of Performance Paul Devlin said the news was positive and that McCullough was a great chance for a quicker than normal return.
“He has had a scan today and he has got a fairly decent MCL injury so we will send him for a surgical opinion on that and go from there,” said Devlin.
nrlphysio saying 6-8 weeks, bit longer than that if he needs surgery

How good is it seeing the player you just bought streak away for an interceptCamo123 wrote:
I went greedy direction - bought ARey last week and am selling Morgan for Farah this week (by downgrading CHT to Dearden), leaving ARey and Carty Party in the HLFs
Im thinking of going greedy too. All well and good having balance but I just would love to have a bench with 3 or 4 hookers.
Currently running Cook, Mcinnis, Rein. Getting there i guess....

Macca is a quick healer I think so could be 4 weeks if no surgery required. Is Turpin worth it?

It will be interesting to see what Siebold does, Turpin is nowhere near an 80 min hooker for Redcliffe. Does he try and push him out to 80 minutes for the Broncos? Big ask, but we're also incredibly short for alternatives.

Well if guess that’s the end of that, then. A very sexy BE goes to waste.
Oh well, hope for his sake he plays some origin this year.

Might be wrong, but i feel like Turpin as a player is not really suited to short-term money making

Staggs would probably relieve him as I don't think he can go 80. Glenn has played there in the past but don't like that idea.

Wonder if Su'a plays a bit of hooker this week, wasn't he rumoured to be training at hooker the other week?

I'm considering him. I'm a bit unsure on his fantasy scoring ability though.

Yeah, his 2019 scores aren't compelling. 6 games: 3 FDO, 12 TB, 158 tackles over ~330 minutes. Even if he can put out 80 mins in first grade, and keep those numbers steady, he's only going to be averaging a tick over around 40 points. And those are big 'ifs'.

seems to sit around the 40 mark in QLD cup, would be a nice long-term money-maker, but with the time frame he has you'd need him to hit 50 a couple times at least to be worth the trade-in/trade-out

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 44
Turpin could do a Rein, and actually score better in NRL than in Q Cup.
For one thing I guess, the NRL is faster and gives a big minute hooker more chance of making lots of tackles (especially if they love a flop).. but does he have the fitness for it.

12 LB is interesting, must love a run from dummy half.L-Jimmy wrote:
