Liddle - reserve hooker, even if Farah stays on field it won't affect Twal
Mikaele & Clark - reserve frf's but both probably won't play big minutes & Matulino will be spelled before Twal.
Garner - reserve 2fr so no effect on Twal

With that bench imo Twal will get 60-65 minutes.

Twal's minutes seem to depend a lot on game situation.

Plays 50 minutes straight, but might have a very small 2nd stint, depending on how things are going. Seems to be the trend over the past month.

That's a pretty big call and would be a pretty bad call by NSW selectors imo. NSW used to chop and change their halves every year during QLD's dominance and after clearly being the better side during the series last season I can't see them changing both halves. Maloney maybe but Cleary? That'd be crazy.

Honestly I think it would be crazier changing one half than both. Keary is great but is he 100% work with the out of form Cleary?

Or would you pick the best two in form halves from the same club that play week in and week out together?

    Just posting my team cause it gives another perspective when looking at options;

    Cook
    Fifita Haas
    Murray Arrow Nikora
    Morgan Carty
    Xerri Capewell
    Sivo CNK Ponga

    Taupau Mahoney Rein Garner

    Lomax Bateman CHT Burns

Was looking okay but now, yuk! 22 trades and only 16K. I'm thinking Bateman to ARey as my only trade. Do a couple of loops also.

Although could turn Bateman and Garner into JFH and Pearce. Garner could see a lot less minutes this week with Matto back to second row. matto himself looks like a great option or punt on Martin.

Could turn CHT into one of the cows, Dearden or Turpin to build up your bank and use it for upgrades otherwise you don't really have cash to play with.

Also a lot of thanks to all the guys that weighed in on the Pearce/ARey debate. I am going to go with the safer looking option, and with the crowd and grab ARey.

Yeah I know. Just don't trust any Broncos at the moment really. Young I'm iffy on also.

I am in this spot. Dont know much about Young, and the Broncos guys, I'm unsure of. Might hold the trade and pull the trigger next week. CHT might end up back in first grade next week if Green doesn't last 80 minutes.

Boyd said yesterday that Glenn or Staggs could cover Turpin at hooker if he can't push out the 80 minutes. Sounds like they will do their best to play him the full game.

Could be worth the punt then.  Don't really need any more hookers though.  Wasn't he pretty rubbish when he played last year? And there's no other option for them is there?

Good call - little fella is carrying more weight than Might and Power, hope he doesn’t fade in the run home.

IMO he and the team only faded causing they got whiff of what Seibold was doing organising a contract with the Broncos while their season was on the up.

I thought he was actually solid in those two games last year, and when I've seen him in trials. Pretty quick around the ruck, and immediately got us rolling forward quicker than Macca ever has.

We literally have no one else though. A fair few people that watch Q Cup regularly don't think he is much chop, although he's had a disrupted season (Siebold keeps alot of players out of Q Cup because he uses them at 13 v 13 training), and Redcliffe are going terrible this year.

I also like most recent suggestion i.e. Reynolds & cow so you can get Taumalolo next week.
Cheers WL... Up the reds. Not sure which cow! Herbert, Seve, Young, Turpin??

Two games last year 33 in 41 mins, and 22 in 34 minutes. Not bad actually. Even if he plays 60 could get 40 - 45 easily and make some decent coin.

Could score a cheeky try and grab a 50 in his first game and we can just tried the wave until Macca is back.

Tolo BE gives me peace in letting him sit for another week before grabbing him. Garner or Hughes should be an easy jump with the cash in my bank.

Wasn't there mention earlier in the season that Surgess is there next to Arey as a bodyguard Cool  ?
Maybe that will keep him from picking up an injury this year.

I've gone Bateman to Tolo, and CHT to Arey. 2 keepers that play round 12, what's not to like?

Kinda feels pretty shit not having 2 x 50+ scorers in my centres. Now I’m going to have to try go for Mitchell/Ramien/Marsters
