I think both Xerri v titans away & Lomax v warriors away are playable for sure. But as you said sometimes a better option appears. You could argue both sides as valid but as with a lot of the trade decisions we make most are 50/50 decisions so you go with your gut.

Hard to say. I think against the raiders koro went off with injury, then last week Croker went off, so he may have got extra mins last 2 weeks

I'd say Fainu to bench unless Koroisau gets injured. It's a shame, I want to buy him but I won't because there's too much uncertainty.

Just in case anyone forgot... pretty much every team is away apart from broncos and Titans... I guess you could say cows as well.

So a few people weighing up on Pearce and A-Rey would lo e to hear more thoughts deciding between the two.

I went Pearce because he’s 100k cheaper and wanted him when Watson was named back at 5/8th lower B/E and it’s only Ponga that takes some KM off him. I still want A-Rey but his Be is still a bit high and could lose some cash with a score under 50

Oh and also that means I can bring in Tolo next week in a single trade

Who's more of a urgent trade this week out of Morgan and Garner.

ARey - probably the best HLF available in R12 (bar Moses and Wighton maybe), with CWalker in great form Souths may split attacking/kicking workload, pretty easy fixtures until after Origin - only Raiders, Eels, Sea Eagles and Dragons from current top 8 until R19 (whether this is good or bad I don't know, extra GK??)

Pearce - runs at the line often, can score a sneaky try, seems to have extremely high KM back (anomaly of 50KM a couple of weeks ago??), Knights worse team, effect of extra cash on your team

Definitely A. Reynolds simply because he plays round 12 & his draw is much better than Pearces.
A. Reynolds = COWBOYS, raiders, WESTS, eels
Pearce = bulldogs, dragons, ROOSTERS

To me A. Reynolds will easily outscore Pearce up to & including round 12 at the 1st bye round.

Lowest score 41 v Pearce's 25, 28, 38, 42 (totalling 6 scores under 55 until last two weeks where he has scored tries)

Although Pearce is on his way up and the cheapest he'll be (inflated by tries), I like ARey's consistency this year. And with not many available/performing halves I think getting a GUN here now is smart, and I think he is most likely to be one of the Gun halves this year. Add to this that ARey has the safety of goals for a higher floor and Rabbits are a better team for more attacking points and potential boom scores.

Pick two to play this week.

Morgan, Garner, carty, sivo

I could trade one, but a short of funds for the players I really want(unless I bring in Wighton), so will Hold a week.

Morgan + Brown OUT, Pearce + Young IN $90k left with Bateman to use as a trade out next week. Otherwise Bateman out now for Smith but less money

Faaark! Can go Bateman & Capewell/Morgan to LoLo & ARey/Pearce directly. Inclined to hold Capewell as selling means I have to play Lomax or Xerri. Feels like I am going a week too early on LoLo and shd shift CHT for a cow but have tried to take a ‘just pull the trigger’ attitude this year. Any compelling reasons not to?
