Okay so a run down on my season:

Sharp fall and slow rise back up. I'll be happy to get back into the top 2000. Injuries have effed me up and bought Farah and RTS recently which now seem unwise with timing etc.

Bit stuck for trades. Who do I trade in as a cash out so I can bring a gun in? Should I get Smith? I've got 20 trades and $145k

So correct me if Im wrong, but given the formula for pricing uses the MN as a multiplier on the most recent 5 games, if the MN is decreasing (and does so in a similar way every year) this means, all else equal, prices rises are now smaller than they otherwise would beat the start of the year, for any given series of scores.

Eg I just plugged Youngs scores in. He makes $65k this week (up $73k overall) if the MN had been stable at 15,000 whereas his actual rise this week was $58k (up $59 overall).

If you want to see the effect. Bailey Simonsson, Lachlan Lam and Liam Martin all scored 28 points in their first game if the year, in rounds 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

They went up $16k, $15k and $14k.

Magic number has been relatively stable since round 4, so price rises from here on in should be about the same (bye rounds will be really low as the salary on the field per game takes a big drop due to origin players all being out)

he wont lose enough money by round 13 to really make him a priority trade imo... unless you have no other issues in your team he is a hold for now.

Yep, this is the feedback from a few of the players, and as you say Science agrees.

I don't think Siebold wants him at the club due to general attitude. Broncos have basically said they will let him go if someone wants him.

I've read some comments in various forums that apparently Roberts doesn't like Siebold but it's all rumour.

The Mahoney switch could have been a master stroke. I never considered switching him out as still expected 65 minutes for a 50.

I think Fittler picks ARey. He's been in form all season and he's already got a good relationship with Cook so it makes sense. Seems silly to pick an out form player due to incumbency. If that was his perogative, he wouldn't have blooded 11 new players last year

I forgot Roberts is a piss head & from that picture not a very good one.

I'm not terribly worried about Mahoney, surely Arthur doesn't try that stuff again this week with him off the bench.

His score was poor in 60 minutes but the Eels spent half that time standing under the goal posts. Mahoney only missed 1 tackle

Agreed, he should never play for NSW. Some gems from 2014:

I like the trades, but would love to see your full squad before commenting further.

For now haha, there isn't much in it at the top. Just a few points between second and 50th. First bye round should hurt me.

Have $469k ITB too, so inclined to spend. Maybe Kapow + a gun half is the better play. Chase the remaining 500k needed for final team post origin.

Have you made up your mind on strategy? As in finish final team ASAP or fill positions for Bye points? I reckon I’d be tempted to gather best team as early as possible?
