Surely Walters picks him then? That would help their halves situation

I mean, Roberts is an idiot for getting that drunk to begin with, but its fkn shitty behaviour to take advantage of that for a few pics

He is not eligible for QLD. NRL rejected his request back then.

Broncos are putting Segeyaro up for media after todays session, that would seem to me like he'll be straight into the 17 for this week.

Oh. Maybe he has a change of heart? But of a shame he can't play origin because of some rules that have been heavily rorted in the past. Should be able to choose one, but can't jump between

He has "committed" to the Blues, and been part of their emerging squads in the past few years, I believe.

    Pretty funny though.

Kotoni Staggs apparently said on the Broncos podcast last week that he has always gone for QLD, but he's blues eligible as well.

My round 12 team is putrid. Lolo and Huddy Young in for Lawrie and Kamikamica sound about right?

Yeah, somewhere in the middle to be honest. I have a general strategy/plan but I'm not committed to it. Depending what I do with my second trade I'm going into round 12 with 9/10 players. Will grab Burns if hes back in time for Xerri.

Post round 12, will grab Smith and possibly Farah (if Liddle doesn't ruin his scores). Might pick up Matterson for a sneaky sideways trade and a POD. And run into 16 with 10/11 players. Then grab Teddy and DCE and ride it home. But really feeling the pinch to grab a half now, or even Teddy and run Ponga at half. So who knows if I'll stick to any of that.

Not sure whether to play for Bye or play for Final team ASAP or a bit of both >.<

    RD12 players at the moment
    Reynolds
    Cleary - Origin
    Sivo
    Brown - Injured
    Cook - Origin
    Tolman
    CNK
    Rein
    Murray - Origin
    Arrow - Origin
    Tolo

So at the moment I have 6 (One of Cleary/Arey will miss out) as i am counting Murray as Origin. Would be good to get Brown back before then. Looking at bringing in L.Martin and Taupau this week so that makes it 8 then possibly one more RD12 cow as a downgrade for Brown if he isnt back before then (Might grab Burns if the funds allow it). So at most I am looking at 9 for Origin but most likely 8.

EDIT: Xerri/Lomax may be good downgrades by then if they may peak also.

Anyone planning on getting Bateman back in for their final teams when he returns?

If I was in your position I would be trying for 14-15 for each bye round
There isn’t a whole lot of great options for round 12 but you could put some decent points on before burning trades to get the round 17 keepers

Morgan and Lawrie still a hold ?

Do we think the Hudson Young risk is worth the potential reward ?

Nrl.com has Luke Bateman back round 10 - 12. Does he come back into the team and take minutes from Young?

Tapine meant to be back round 15 - 17, whats the source of his early return?

This is pretty reactionary and might not be the best approach to save a failing season but I'm probably just going to aim for my final team as fast as possible.

To start I'm just going to get Cook in this week. Was going to do it last week but got talked out of due to Origin. Now, it doesn't really matter to me.

I'm trading both out this week. Kyle Flanagan is a fine fill in who is outscoring Morgan anyway.

Lawrie can be held but he's about peaked now.

I guess I could, seems like a lot of effort though. Have 8 for 12 right now, 9 if I get someone like Young/Martin/Wighton. 10 if Burns makes it back and I swap him for Xerri.

To get anymore I would have to trade out a gun like Fifi, Muray, Arrow, Ponga or a fresh cow like Dearden or Lomax. Then trade heavy to bring them back in post origin. I've got 18 trades left if I make two this week. Haven't exactly banked a lot. Need ~10 or so trades to get final team, plus a couple more for another cow or two to get final team money (will be about 400k short on current cows - includes getting Batman back). I'm not sure going hard on the byes is worth it in the end.

Hey lads any idea what I should be doing?

    Byes or Final 17?

    Rein
    Fifita, Tolman
    Arrow, Murray, Kikau
    ARey, Morgan
    Nikora, Capewell
    Ponga, Teddy, CNK

    Gillett, Haas, Lawrie, Cartwright
    Xerri, Sivo, Brown, Whitbread

21 trades left. No idea what to do from a rank of 9k

I don't think you really have to purposefully aim for players in R16 because a lot of the key players that form people's team will be playing in R16 anyway (barring injury) - Nikora, Haas, Fifita and then guns people bring in at the expense of peaked cows like Smith/Farah/McInnes for Mahoney/Rein, RTS for CNK and so on
