Whoa - that's beautiful language for a silly game!

Your trades seem good to me, and there's plenty of others who've been bringing in ARey/RTS without hesitation.

Its all good - don't sweat it.

Haha thought i'd throw a sneaky anchorman reference in there

RTS vs teddy is my question I'd say with origin context around it. RTS seems more involved this year but warriors stink from the few games i've seen

I think i'm going lawrie to lolo and waiting on ARey for now

    Cheers for the advice

I don’t see any way that Cleary gets dropped from SOO. He’s the incumbent, playing OK, but in a shit team. Keary can fuck off....he wanted desperately to play for QLD. Cleary can play on the left. Why not Reynolds and Cleary? Both good defenders, both good kicking games. I don’t see Walker as an option. He goes missing from time to time.

Can you grab Lolo for Lawrie instead of Morgan to Arey? That gives you 2 more rd 12 keepers in Lolo and RTS and gives you some more time to see which way Fittler is going to with the halves for SOO.

I agree with this, would definitely be grabbing Lolo in your position. The Arey origin chat is concerning. And I like RTS, I have him, but I'm finding it really hard to bring anyone in that wont be playing 12 right now. That said you need a WFB, maybe RTS is the best bet... there aren't a lot of better options.

I’m actually thinking along the same lines. One week I could endure, but this is now reoccurring..... hammies and fascia are notorious for hanging around. If he hadn’t gone down last week, I wouldn’t have considered it. Plus he’s such a large frame to be carrying any leg injury. I think I’m punting him. Only because of the nature of the injury.

It’s high risk, high reward. You’d imagine if he comes back and bosses it he’ll still lose a little bit of money so as long as you’re willing to buy him down the track again at a slightly small cost. That said it’s going to cost two trades to do that. Whoever you bring in either needs to make money or outscore him substantially to be worth it

How many trades do you lads have that you are able to trade out Fifita and bring him back in when most already have to do the same with Bateman?

    Mahoney, Rein, Tolman, Lawrie
    Carty, Dearden, Kahu, Bateman

Pretty much set on getting teddy, but what position should I prioritise after that?

Nice squad to me your wfb's are your weak spot. Rapana has to go & having to play Lomax is not ideal. Lucky you have 304k bank because you can easily rectify it. I was going to suggest selling Morgan but even though he has to go he has the Eels at home this week so I don't think he'll score that badly but I'd be looking to sell him the following week.
These are the trades I would do = sell Rapana & J. Bateman. As you mentioned lock in Tedesco. Then you could buy a 2nd wfb & here's 4 options I like & who are in great form from = RTS (doesn't play round 12), C. Walker (plays round 12), Wighton (plays round 12), CNK (plays round 12). Then closer to round 12 you can focus on guys like Taumalolo & Taupau. Good luck bro.

Am I the only person who thinks Cleary has actually been playing quite well for the Panthers?

I don't see why he is copping all the blame. Maloney and the rest of his team bar JFH have been completely trash.

I think we will be looking at Clear + keary/walker for NSW

    Nikora Burns
    CNK Ponga Hughes

    Mahoney Haas Rein Lawrie

    Carty CHT Lomax Xerri

    and 369k itb

Planned trades were morgan to ARey and Hughes to RTS.

Could do Teddy over RTS due to BE's but thought RTS would have 1-2 more games over teddy as I see Robbo resting his origin players at least once each over the series. I'm going horribly in H2H despite being the top scorer in my league and doing ok overall (1700s) haha so maybe I just take teddy and ignore overall all together?

Is ARey for origin just heresay? I'd look elsewhere without doubt if he was likely to play origin. Cleary not playing origin would have him in my side.

I could just go all out cash generation but the thing that stopped me getting hudson young last week was JS with tapine likely back soon?

Hopefully burns is back this week

Somebody inspire me, i'm in a glass cage of emotion

Teddy missed 3 games in total last year ( with Bye & Orgin, he missed one extra game). Based on than RTS should give more points for overall. However we assume that average will remain the same and that RTS will not get injured.
RTS's 3 game is lower while Teddy is improving.

We also know its rare for a player go through the whole season without injury unless you are CS9 so personally I will bring in Teddy.

Agree re Keary but I can see Cleary getting dumped. If he was good in origin last year maybe he'd hold his spot but he wasn't any better than average and was playing a hell of a lot better in club land.

Yeah I like the Hughes to Wighton trade but bear in mind that Wighton has scored 4 tries over his last 3 games.

I don't see how you can avoid a player because of a non existent injury unless their name is Dugan.

The answer is in the context.

Teddy over RTS. RTS on his own is a buy as far as I can tell.

Any combination of Cronk, Thurston and Lockyer. Sterling and Kenny. Johns and a string of great 5/8s.

Trying to look at round 12 options but geez Teddy or Milf would make my team look a lot more bearable. Carty to EMG, Milf with Arey at half, or Ponga at half and Teddy at the back. Damn byes.
