Personally, I can definitely see Reynolds and Cleary together. I just don't think they'll dump the incumbents for Origin 1 after winning last year

Thinking about Milford as well, averaging 41 just in tackles, RM and KM (Munster at 39, Reynolds at 39, Cleary at 33) in last 3. Wish I knew if Cleary was going to outright play Origin or not this week because I'd pick him straight away for R12. Also have ARey

Are they threatening you with legal action or is the nrl pissed off you created a site which is much better & efficient than anything they could come up with.

Is the website copyrighted by them? If not, I doubt they can do much about it except offer to buy it from you.

You don’t have to explicitly copyright anything - in Australia if you made it you own it.
That includes data, such as stats, which the originator retains rights to - including of exclusion, sale and attribution.
Get an IP lawyer, sharpish.
Sorry mate, but this could turn nasty very quickly should anyone take the view that you’re effectively competing with their for profit product. And seriously consider immediately turning off the website.

Don’t turn off the website. You don’t need to. Just get some advice from a lawyer. You own the website name. If they want it, they have to pay for it. I’ve been around a few of these type stouches before. Why do you think people make websites for profit? Anyway, it isn’t cut and dried by any stretch. They’ll bluff first. Then open their wallet.....

From my understanding, the stats data is public property once released. You own the website. You registered it. Don’t fold without getting legal advice.

What about the data though Rabbit?
NRL has to buy it from Stats.com
My guess is MTB doesn't pay a cent for it....

I'm guessing it's more the source data than the name of the website.

Look up. If it needs to be paid for, then it’s definitely an issue.

Main issue is going to be around getting stats for free that they pay for. Maybe look into contacting the stats provider about getting paid access to the stats. I'm sure everyone round here will chuck in a few bucks

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 47
Thanks for the advice lads
I'm not sure about the injury side of things. RTS had a minor scare that they seemingly were quite cautious with. The way I interpreted the news we got and kearney's certainty that he would play that week when it happened before him missing a week was that there was a slight risk involved due to some tightness or a strain rather than a tear and they decided against risking him. Getting through 2 games since is good confirmation he's healed given his explosiveness despite lower fantasy output in those games (vs a fifita who was quite clearly not 100% when he played on his for his first game back)
Injury aside:
Teddy:
- 700k
- BE 37
- Season average 51.3 thanks to last week. 2018 Average of 53.1
- Likely to miss 3 games without injury
- In a dominant team
RTS:
- 722
- BE 69
- Season average 52.3
- 2018 average 43.7
- Likely to miss 1 game without injury
- Already 1 game back due to hamstring niggle
- Dominant in a poor team. Scores likely to fluctuate with win vs loss
Likely the cheapest I can get teddy for the rest of the season and likely RTS drops this week. Tempted to get teddy this week as H2H is more important to me than overall and wait on RTS. Can't go too wrong with either though.
Does anyone see RTS dropping back to historical average of in the 40s?
