I learned my lesson about butchering the site ranking, as I lost track of what other top players available. Made tracking the best available very difficult and I could only rely on my own research - very dangerous.
- Spoiler:
Hopefully the screenshot works.
Picking from 7th spot - that hurt.
Rd 1 (pick 7) - best available of what I wanted in rd 1. Looking more into Johnson, the happier I am. He's easily looking the lead this year. I wanted Zeek (and I've proposed the trade to Russ), but happy to remain.
Rd2 (pick 10) - Gronk. Happy with set and forget. Happy for the easy option under the makeshift QB. Not happy to take him this early, but he featured in almost every mock I did, so I guess it was fate.
Rd3 (pick 23) - Nearly fell asleep waiting for the pick to come around again. Probably lost track of best available here, but I wanted Cooper. Crabtree seems his only real competition at WR, so should see plenty of targets. on the way up.
Rd4 (pick 26) - Amazing how other peoples picks shape your own. Someone took Rodgers in the 4th, so I jumped onto Cam. QB priority was Cam, Wilson, Rodgers, but in preseason, Wilson has looked even more erratic behind the shaky O-line, so I wanted to ensure I could nab the good QB points.
Rd5 (pick 39) - Not many that I wanted to take here. I was going for Cooks, but he was taken about 3 picks before. Needed another RB and Rawls was the only decent option. I'm uneasy about him having had such a quiet pre-season, so I just needed to make sure the cuff was right, and I took up Michaels way late - so feeling better. As a seahawks fan, this will make playing a bit more fun.
Rd6 (pick 42) - Needed a WR. Decker was on my notes as consistent so he got the call up.
Rd7 (pick 55) - After losing track of best available again, I was kinda surprised that seahawks no1 target was still available. Was kinda reluctant due to stacking up on Seattle, but, meh.
Rd8 (pick 58) - Bernard. Came up in the research and I'm just waiting for Hill to spend some time on the sidelines.
Rd9 (pick 71) - Taking on a lot of youth here, but should be a strong no2 option.
Rd10 (pick 74) - Flagged again during research from a few articles, but from the depth charts it looks as though he's going to be close to the no1 option, flexible with solid catching ability and a bit more efficient that Crowell in a run-first offence.
Rd11 (pick 87) - Broncos DST. I figured I had enough coverage of the starting team, so using the 94 point formula from the espy article, I wanted to ensure enough points from DST. I had seahawks as priority, but after taking too many early on I went to Denver (projections are better anyways).
Rd12 (pick 90) - Came on the radar late, Aiken seems to have a potentially high ceiling. Smiths old, Perrimans injured, so there's potential for a lot of targets especially early on if the others don't come back as easy.
Rd13 (pick 103) - Got my cuff. Given his efforts in pre-season, I reckon Michaels has leaped Priose (sp?) on the depth. Looked like a weapon and I think he's even got potential to take time from Rawls.
Rd14 (pick 106) - Coleman filling a WR spot. Youth, fast, see how he goes.
Rd 15 (pick 119) - best projected kicker that was left.
In the end, using the 94 point formula and the espn projections - I only got to 90. So hopefully some of the rookies can fire...

Re: NFL Fantasy
League 1 draft results for the Ravens!
Hate going first, too many picks inbetween the back to backs make it difficult to land who you want without sometimes reaching for players to guarantee you get them
1.Brown the obvious No.1 overall choice but I did think about going Gurley, Brown has a high floor and the top ceiling in NFL fantasy
2 & 3. Like I mentioned earlier picking 1st and (8th) means a lot of time between picks so missed out on my R2 RB target in Lamar Miller but i was massively happy with landing Shady and Lacy, McCoy is the bell cow back in a run first team without their goaline snatcher Karlos Williams this year, more TD's coming from Shady this year, picked Lacy first overall last year and his was a massive dissapointment, slimmer and in a contract year, the return of Nelson unplugging the middle he will go massive this year!
4.Figured guys would sleep on Allen, massive target hog and will be atop 5 WR this year
5.Wowsers getting Cooper in the 5th was an absolute steal, kid is a superstar getting a borderline No.1 reciever in my flex spot!
6.More value in the 6th grabbing Wilson. top 3 QB
7, 8&9. RB heavy here, Hill has the most TD's for a RB since 2014 and Gore and Jennings are bell cows, great depth and flex options
10. plenty of WR depth to pick up later so I grabbed the best D in football early, if they regress I know my chargers have a shot at the AFC West this year....
11. grabbed the lions probable top passing option in Jones, Stafford loves to throw the ball will get plenty of targets
12. Fleener could go boom this year playing in a saint O that loves passing to the TE
13. Coleman has huge upside as the No1 target in Cleveland until Gordon returns and or gets suspended again...
14. plenty of points for GB this year means plenty for Crosby
15. big play potential and hopefully some 2nd year progression from the dynamic Lockett
really, really happy with this draft

It was the Draft Manifesto that I read over. Apparently he publishes one every year and he cites that out of the winning teams from the last 3 years or so, they all had a weekly average of 93-94 points. He then breaks it down by position. Link:

So, apparently WR's are the strength of my team but I'm lacking a bit of RB depth and should look for a trade.
L2, who's got a tasty RB but needs a WR?
