Brittain will go back to reggies for sure once Cook is back, and everyone trading him in knows that.

He is a cash out with the potential for a big score this round, and maybe a good score in one or more of rounds 13/15/17 if Cook gets a rest.

That is all. Most people probably won't even sell him again (unless he manages to play 3+ games and make a tonne of cash)

Bateman edge or lock (and does Tapine get the other spot?)
Tapine to lock with fitness so back to middle. Sutton has just been filling a gap and soli is long past that role.

Should have clarified my 80min reference was for this week, not until season end. Think he’s a serviceable 14-17 until season end at best.

Main point was his price now.

He was over 700k at season start and I remember some managers fancying him at those odds too!

Tapine surely is in there over young

38/39pt was about his runrate last season in sub 80mins Tapine. Serviceable number 18 more so than 14-17

    No. Zero chance of that.

Tapine is in raiders full strength side. All of our early season matches have already confirmed that.

Realistically Xerri and Lomax are the only non R12 players I want to trade out (R12 players in bold) - I have 11 players for R12 which is probably average or just above (without trades, 17 left)

    Team (5k in the bank)
    Cook

    JFH Murray Taumalolo
    Munster ARey
    Garrick Nikora

Someone mentioned him being more than a cashout in that he is a cook handcuff.

A very good point for anyone going light at hooker position (although don’t know why you would!)

Brittain allows cook to go missing late notice, get injured or rest after origin. Optimal cashout and if everyone who owns cook sees this, he will be the highest cashout of all time as rabs predicted!

Can you manage to do it during the round with rolling lockout (players you're trading out are on a bye/haven't played before Raiders) and then can wait to see updated teams to see if he actually plays (and in favourable position, slight possibility of CTR)

Brittain isn't a cash cow by any stretch, more a cashout as he is near base price (228k) and should get 40-50 points this week and then fill in for Cook if rested and then act as a loop option potentially. Like GM said, you can kind of guarantee you have a Rabbitohs HOK if you have Cook + Brittain (when/if Cook is rested during Origin, in the case that Cook may potentially be a late out)

    Trades this week
    Martin > Brittain
    Drown > Taupau
309K left as I look to offload Rein, Tolman, Young, Sivo, CNK for Bateman, CS9/McInnes, RyMat, RTS/Turbo, Munster/Crichton over the next 5 weeks.

    To those that care
Here is my Upset, Certainty and Smokey Captain for the week guys. I am running 2 from 2 so far, so let’s see if I can make it 3 from 3.

Upset – Eels. Now I am not sure if many will see this as an upset (Bookies included) with the stars Rabbitohs are missing but I feel majority of people still think Rabbitohs should get up in this one and I think Eels at home will be looking to show something more than playground shit! Rabbitohs will miss Cook, Murray, Gagai and Walker.
Certainty – Raiders. I think after last weeks loss Ricky will have his troops on fire. With the hopeful inclusion of Bateman and the depth in the squad this year the Green Machine will be flying against the doggies after a tough clash against Melbourne.
Smokey Captain choice – JFH! He was on track for a big score last week and he will be continuing this effort with a big win against the Sea Eagles. 50+ tackles and over 100 run metres. 60+ is on the cards here.

is there a cheapie with any semblance of job security other than Havili that i'm missing? wanna lose Carty so i have the funds for Smith and Fifi next round, but i'm already cashing out with Brittain and i don't want to wipe out two EMG spots while i still get to genearte some money.

I wonder if Starling would ever get to take over the starting role though.

I'm predicing 400-450 from my team of 8 this round.

    Rein
    Taupau
    Lolo (c), Waddell
    Reynolds
    CNK

    Havili, Brittain

I will bring in Bateman too if he's named. I want those points. Not interested in waiting a week or two to save $50k and miss out on 100 points. No thanks.

Havilli 362K. I seriously thought he was around 450K, don't know why. That changes things a bit.

    Brian To’o seems fair shout
Mitch Dunn from starting backrow to starting centre bodes pretty well
Cust is a coinflip but won’t be surprised to see him hold it over Elgey
