I think Fainu goes around 53-55

Looking good bud. You’ll have the edge on me in trades left
I’m still contemplating closing eyes for R16 and taking a rank hit Vs go in balls deep, leave me F.A trades left for the run home. The latter is super risky but also prob my only way of maybe winning
Solid plan brother. GLGLWelshy wrote:
I think 3 will be enough barring any sort of utter disaster, Fainu will need 1. So technically only 2 to cover any long term injury where I go like for like
McInnes coverable by Robson
Nikora/Bateman/Tedesco/Ponga/RTS by Burns
So happy with the cover without losing trades above, Only huge issue I would have would be injury to front 5 and halves
I will have 11 for R16 so I'm hoping for huge captain score and getting around the 500-550 which might see a decent enough ranking rise!
I'm 144 points off top 1000, want a boost this week and top 17 done next
You are flying bro, stand pat and keep some trades if possible. Might be your best weapon

If he was to go back to the bench and score 45 it would be the equivalent of a 50 point non-16 player
If he was to score at 48 then would get the same points as a 53.3 non-16 player
So WORST case scenario, Tevaga averages 50-53
Best case scenario is that he keeps the starting lock spot and is an elite gun
I think he's a good option

He is a good option but I don't trust he is the right option for my squad. I don't trust his role with Kearney the pleb, Burr back, Bully will come back.
If he goes back to 50 minutes he isn't going over 50, I would need him in this week because his BE dictates he makes a load of cash this week and makes him 100% unaffordable next week to still allow Watson - Cook
If I got him, would need to be this week and not get SJ until next week as all my other cash outs are playing so offset his points scored this week somewhat
i don't have the halves cover to not get SJ and get Tevaga over him (which I wouldn't mind)
minus his outliner game (81) and his 2 injured effected scores, he is averaging 44 this season. Goes back to my worries about role from now to end of season

Pacey's Best wrote:At work and browsing around and I've just noticed the great draw that Parra Eels have for the rest of the year.
(Round) (Currently)
17. Tigers (9th)
18. Sea Eagles (6th)
19. Warriors (12th)
20. Dragons (10th)
21. Knights (5th)
22. Titans (15th)
23. Bulldogs (16th)
24. Broncos (14th)
25. Sea Eagles (6th)
You couldn't ask for a better draw as they play none of the top 4 in Storm, Roosters, Rabbitohs or Raiders and not even Sharks (who I think at full strength is a big danger in this comp).
I'm having a lot of trouble in figuring out which 2 gun halves that I want in my final 17 this year as I can't settle on any of them yet with confidence, but now I wonder that this draw for the Eels should lead me to pick Mitch Moses as one of the halves.
I'll think about it for the next couple of days, but I figured that I'm not the only one having trouble with the halves and this might be something to think about.

4 weeks ago bringing in Watson was opposed by the majority (will score poorly at HOK, will be back to the bench asap) and now he's a saviour for most. Might need to try find that next guy and jump on, I'm hoping that guy is Tevaga

At the risk of taking this further, isnt this just the nature of the game we are playing? Every week, sometimes every day, we get new information. One has to adapt to what ever that new information is, and, things/opinions/conclusions change. If you arent comfortable with that, and arent able to make unbiassed decisions every time new information arises, then this will be a tough game to play (generic 'you' not you in particular LB).
