(Round) (Currently)
17. Tigers (9th)

20. Dragons (10th)
21. Knights (5th)
22. Titans (15th)
23. Bulldogs (16th)
24. Broncos (14th)
25. Sea Eagles (6th)
You couldn't ask for a better draw as they play none of the top 4 in Storm, Roosters, Rabbitohs or Raiders and not even Sharks (who I think at full strength is a big danger in this comp).
I'm having a lot of trouble in figuring out which 2 gun halves that I want in my final 17 this year as I can't settle on any of them yet with confidence, but now I wonder that this draw for the Eels should lead me to pick Mitch Moses as one of the halves.
I'll think about it for the next couple of days, but I figured that I'm not the only one having trouble with the halves and this might be something to think about.
I'm still thinking of keeping Mahoney, this may help.

Those getting Tevaga in, I'm assuming you are crossing your fingers for the following:
1 - He stays starting lock even when Burr is back
2 - If Burr comes back onto the bench, he doesn't take minutes of Jazzy
3 - He doesn't have anymore injury effected games (two this year)
4 - He doesn't miss anymore games due to injury (two this year)
5 - He doesn't score less than 40 going forward (five from twelve games this year)
I don't know about you but I don't have that many fingers to cross.
From what I can tell he's being hyped up in here based on one start and a high score in that start.

Does anyone think that Pearces form improves now that the threat of origin has gone?

One game and one score is more than most of the hype round here us built on.
I'm not a buyer but Rabs called this early in the season. No one knows how to pick a lock better than our own Rabbit.

He was killing it not that long ago, now he looks uninterested.
I don’t know if he’s playing injured or his mind is fucked with all the origin talk but he has to improve.
The halves are a mine field at the moment.

He’s been behind Burr all season mate, Burr gets rested and he starts, we don’t even know until tomorrow if he’s starting and if he is is he playing anywhere near the 73 minutes he played last week!?Pain wrote:

Nice trade
It was only a month or so ago I was planning on finishing the year with Cleary/Reynolds in the halves. Then Reynolds got injured
Then I was planning on finishing Cleary/Milford. Then Cleary got injured
Then i was planning on finishing Brooks/ Milford. Then Milford gets injured
Now I am planning on finishing Brooks/SJ
Hopefully I can have some good luck with injuries to finish off the year
If this was part of Psychometric test, I would have taken the "then Brooks gets injured" out of the 4 options.
But lucky that this is not a test so good luck for rest of the year.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 66
Lazy tuesday morning. Had a look through my trades for the season, and I've traded out 9 players because of injury (you could call 7, maybe 8 of those keepers), plus another 2 because of suspension.
Injury: Friend, Burns, DCE, Bateman, Bird, Reynolds, Ponga, Milford, D Brown.
Suspension: TPJ, Young.
Certainly not saying I've been worse than anyone else, they are all very common players and there would be people that copped it alot worse than I did. Just interesting to see how many trades get burned on injuries. Ponga wasn't a definite trade either, but a gut call.
Still may try and hold Milford pending news on how many games he will actually miss.

I was thinking yesterday, and I know it gets said every year, but surely this year has to have been was of the hardest in recent history with regards to injuries, suspensions, restings and late outs to key fantasy players. I've not had it too bad, have had a pretty good run since captaining Fifita and James for their injury games. Traded 6 because of injury and suspension but currently holding Fifita and Ponga as well.

Tevega should be starting lock for the Warriors. No doubt about it. He proved that on the weekend.
Having said that, I won’t be bringing in him now. Why not? Simply because Kearney is a potato.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 66
Milford out really fucks my plans. He and Ponga were my set and forget halves for the year
After 4 trades I’ve got 11 starters if Clark gets another run. Halves are now SJ and Pearce. I’ll keep Ponga and whip him into FB, or on the bench for the run home with his DPP.
7 trades left after this week. 182nd now. Teddy and Fifita need to come in for CNK and someone, for the run home. I might still keep CNK yet. He’s a good footy player and seems to be getting free rein now. Dunno.......
Should be an interesting TLT today. Gonna play golf and have a look later.
