You'd have to have brain damage to think Beale is a better option in the centres than Herbert.

Read an article saying he's been managing it for a while now.
Yeah since he injured it earlier in the season but strange that they said he'd be out for a few weeks and next thing he's named and no one is talking about it.
I'd still be concerned if I had him in my 17. At least the Warriors play relatively early in the round.

Worked well with Munster, Burns and Matterson this year. Not so great with Edwards, Holland, Ofa
Holland bloody killed my start to the season. Particularly since I had left enough money in the bank, I could have afforded Bateman from the start.

He hurt his ankle in the first half last week then came back on so it cant be so bad to force him out of the side.

as far as i know, nobody in any official capacity said that, that was a guess at the type of injury and recovery time from nrlphysio.

Yeah, Edwards and Holland were my first two trade outs. Cut my losses early!

...but then he came off again towards the end of the game, apparently because he was struggling with it.
and pretty sure its the same ankle injury he's been struggling with for most of the season that copped it in that tackle.

Yeah this. Bit like the Broncos saying they weren't sure yet with milford and it could be 1 week or it could be 4 to 6.
Media ran with the worst case option.
I don't really regret making the trade when I did, because at the time there was no official word either way.

Yeah I think you're right, only thing I can find from the Warriors after a quick google is that he came off near the end of the game due to struggling with the injury, nothing saying that they thought he might miss some games.

Yeah, right
I'm one cock up / bit of bad luck away from not being able to get Cook back in. It is tighter than a duck's sphincter

I can't wait for all the Origin stars to be named and no news about who's being rested etc.
Big surprise for me that is an actual possibility is something like Whare some how pushing Yeo to 2rf, JFH to lock and Martin to bench.
SJ benched.
SST not ready to be back yet.
Ponga named.

Yeah, I think all origin players will get named, seems to be par for the course. The bonus for coaches is that they are allowed to name more than 21 when they have multiple origin players, so why wouldn't they name them.
Expect SST back. Pretty sure he was just rested.
Will be interesting to see if Ponga is named.

SST probably the one I'm sweating on. Concussion with an HIA where he returned to the field is a worry.StormTrooper96 wrote:I can't wait for all the Origin stars to be named and no news about who's being rested etc.

Has a bit of Matterson-esque about it.
Hopefully some better service out of dummy half and running off of Cronk/Keary, plus the Roosters really needing a rocket up their ass makes SST bust out some big scores.

That’s the part of fantasy I struggle with. I find it hard to cut my losses early trading out players I trusted from preseason, or trading in players with unsustainable scoring patterns(Bateman with 10 tbs and 2 lbs, turns out he is just a freak)
