In other news, I'm up against White Lightning in the Eliminator and it's not looking good. Our unique players are:

    Taupau - Jurbo
    JFH - J Papalii
    Watson - Wighton
    Nikora - Latrell
    Turbo - Ponga
    RTS - McInnes
    Twal - Tevaga
    CNK - Burns
    Xerri - To'o
    Dearden DBrown
    Whitbread - Fifita
    Brittain - Walters

Basically for me to stand a chance, I need my POD squad of Burns, Tevaga, Wighton, Papalii and Latrell (Latrell is a POD among top teams) to fire up, as well as McInnes.

Good luck my dude, I'd say you'll likely beat me this week.

I see you're already claiming underdog status BB. When I looked at your team I thought you had the edge. Those match ups seem more favourable for you than me. Good luck you are all class & graciousness BB.

Good news for us Dearden owners he is ready to go this week so hopefully they pick him. Up against the Titans I might play him over CNK, Whitbread & Xerri as my 17th man. I can't loophole because my only npr is Brittain & he plays before those 4.

sajjos wrote:And what's with Kearney chasing Hookers and Dean Pay signing all Backrowers? Are they playing a fantasy game specially build for the coaches.

Maybe they get extra points for playing hookers in backrow/HLF - Roache, Tevaga, Robson, Turpin, Havili,BSmith et al

Also maybe they get more points for playing russian roulette with the spine during the game.

That's what Mary McGregor meant when he said "We can still win this" as Widdop is expected back soon.

It's actually smart when you think about it.

Spend more of your salary cap on hookers, then the league has no hookers left. Warriors can start targeting the whimpy little hookers left on the field, then charge 500% for a transfer of their stock to the new clubs.

I can see no other way Kearny could justify holding a head coaching role other than financial manipulation.

I think Tevega's ankle injury is going to bother him for the rest of the season so the Warriors should manage his training. Hopefully he doesn't miss any games because I need him with only 2 trades left. He's averaged 66 for me since I've had him...

Liddle is a beast and we already signed Simpkin

We need a speedy fullback (like Papenhuyzen), a big fast centre if we manage offload Mbye, an aggressive tackle-busting prop and a back-rower to replace Lawrence, and a new reserve grade team. We also need another half for when Benji retires but that probably won’t me until the end of next year. And one of our signings needs to be a goal-kicker

If we manage to do all this then Tigers would definitely be a top 8 team, pushing for top 4

We have a decent group of players between Thompson, Nofoaluma, Brooks, Marshall, Liddle, MCK, Aloiai, Twal, Eisenhuth,Taylor, Matterson, Marsters

I’m hoping something like this for the future

    1. ?
    2. Nofoaluma
    3. Marsters (he needs improvement but I believe he has the potential to be a weapon, if he doesn’t improve get another centre)
    4. ?
    5. Thompson
    6. Benji
    7. Brooks
    8. Twal
    9. Liddle

Matterson lock is interesting. More tackles and run metres should provide better base stats.

Might not play 80 though. He's always scored well in the back row.
