If Jack Williams gets that lock role, he’s looking like good value.

I agree, the less ridiculously underpriced players the better.
it doesn't improve the game having guys like Nikora last year who are in every team. It's a good thing if pricing makes you think about players before selecting them

Teams will be less similar this year due to these upped prices

pricing definitely being manipulated based on perceived roles. Think they're trying to bump up most cheap hookers so open benches won't be stacked with them. scratching my head when trying to work out pricing comparison between Johnson and Fat Andrew.

It’s genius really. Bringing subjectivity into the starting price formula means we are all reliant on fan hubs / NRLs releases.

Just wait till the preseason starts and we all over analyze things, then we’ll all predict team lists and minute rotations that end up being wrong to some extent, finally all the last minute changes due to TLT. They’ll be different come start round 1

I see no reason to be concerned with whether your own team is similar/cookie cutter compared to others. If you're thinking beyond having the best possible squad within the cap, then you're over thinking things.

How many minutes do we think Andrew Fifita is gonna get?

Can anyone see him playing 55mins?

When he played 50mins or more last season he averaged 60.6.

Should be no reason why he doesn't play 50 odd mins, at least, but after last season, I've got no idea really.

That’s what worries me, it has crossed my mind to start with Fifita, but I just don’t think I can over Haas right now. Fifita’s knee is a worry too and is coming closer to end of his career whilst Haas will only get better and stronger.

I agree, I found it very easy to pick an initial draft team this year. Plenty of time for things to change up though, especially now that there's a special fanhub loading for players like BBrailey, Isaako and whoever else they feel deserves a price increase. The magic number sits around 14500 for most atm.

AFifita is a wait and see for me. I don't feel confident that he'll be playing the full 23 games. He played 20 games last year. He was in the top 5 FRF if you look at his average per game, but if you look at his overall points for the seaon he sits just outside the top 10.

I can’t see anyone starting with both Haas and Fifita, most will start with Haas and just a handful imo will start with Fifita.

If you start without either in your side I must say that’d take a brave man and it may pay off or could be a bit costly.

I think most people will want to start with Haas, but may end up downgrading to Fifita if these prices continue

It’ll be interesting to see how much guys like Pappy and James are along with Koroisau.

If Best costs more than lower 300’s it’ll annoy me.
