Sportsdeck VSDT 2020 Part 1

Yeo to Edwards and Croft to Hunt
First trade is a gut call. Think we've seen where Yeo ends up with the last two weeks and while that is still good scores at CTR I'll take the cash he's made and play Suli or Talau at CTR and make up the points with Hunt over Croft. Means I'll be playing 4 WFBs. Ponga, Papi, Edwards and Teddy. Some handy cash ITB also.
Eliminator, have only Grant and Teddy in common so it's a bit of a lottery. They have Matterson as CPT who I don't have. I need to decide my CPT from Cook, Haas, Tolo, Hunt, Carrigan or take a punt on Teddy.

Watching Matty Johns Podcast which I enjoy for a laugh to find Blocker Roach has taken over the show.
He has been jibberring away non stop for 45 min, shoot me.

Should be able to win eliminater unless I get unlucky thinking not having Hass will knock me out of it sooner or later.

Brown is hard to ignore. At the moment I've gone Cleary purely cuz he's got a higher ceiling but I'm sure Brown has an 80+ score somewhere in his arsenal? Very tempting

I had Moses who is not great in this format and brought Brown in to replace him and couldn't be happier.

I don't know if Cleary has a higher ceiling, Brown seems to get a lot more tackles and is generally the running threat it seems. I think I'll go brown as I'm down at 3xx in rankings and seems to be a bit more left field.

Also i'm scraping my pennies together to bring in Ted so every $ saved counts.

22mins before kick-off tonight I had Angus and Meaney in my team. I then noticed I could do magic with HTF's DPP so I brought in Niu and Matterson instead. Pretty happy with my amendment at the minute.

If Matto is in fact out, would you guys play Rudolf, Niu or Best? Can't choose Fermor as he will be locked out before the Eels cut their squad unless I'm mistaken?

Rudolf the safe choice, Niu the punty choice. I'd lean towards Rudolf as should be good for 30-40

bugger. On this platform, I always end up waiting to make my trade until the last possible minute, given you can't reverse (just like the good old days!). Of course it means risking forgetting to do the trade in time some weeks - i completely forgot to trade Grant in before his first week of price rises, which was a costly mistake...

I ended up doing my trades super late, just didn't see the Matterson thing coming at all. Lol, good times. I have adequate cover so it's not a disaster... Just annoying more than anything else. Touch wood, my Eliminator opponent has a pretty scrappy looking side so I hope and don't think it'll affect that either.

Matterson out and Keary scoring low makes me look good for eliminator. He has Brett Morris which looked like it might help him part way through the game but he finished relatively low.

I captained Tedesco to match eliminator opponent, which was a risky move for overall scoring but looks to have come off OK.

Rudolf vs Fermor, still Rudolf yeah? Titans gonna get pasted?
