I found this from January 16 (Bulldogs website) - "Jeremy Marshall-King is out of the brace after requiring surgery to his shoulder. The hooker has started his running and has commenced his upper body weight program. The club will look to phase him into skills work over the next month."

So I guess he hasn't returned to full training yet.

Outrageous deal if those numbers are true.

Surprisingly that's what he's currently on, it's not much of an upgrade.

    Year 1 - $200K Souths, $350 WT

    then $650K a year (ave.)

Lowe priced at 30 Su'A at 28. Both will be 35-40 average with the odd low score. Not sure I will start with either but Su'A seems to interest me more than Lowe. Both won't be focal points in attack, and defense numbers will be dictated to by the flow of game. Prefer Carrigan if he starts, JWilliams if he starts, Stimson if he starts, LLeilua if he starts.

Is anyone considering Murray to take on more minutes?

What we've been told is, the deal averages out to 450k pa.

This is my favourite version I've see so far. I'm personally avoiding Friend, but I'm really liking how this looks. It's not completely dissimilar to what I'm currently going with, but picking Friend and JMK over McInnes & Moses certainly allows you to fill out the team far more evenly.

    Very interesting...
Cheers bro I’ve been working hard on my side.

So are you starting with JMK or Koro at hooker?

I think Lowe will play 80mins and Su’a won’t, on that basis at this stage I’ll pick Lowe.

So maybe that’ll affect his minutes early on then and he will only get 60?

    I’m a bit concerned now.

See Su'a is the one that worries me. I had him during his brief stint playing a few games for the Broncos and he seemed to go very quiet at times. I see Lowe as the better player. Has scored well previously and looks a bit rejuvenated at the Bunnies. I think he has his chance and he isn't letting it go. Plus all I see is his last minute heroics that nearly won QLD the series last year.

PS: Aren't they both right edge back rowers?

Yeah, I can’t convince myself either way. I lack an obvious captain, haas could do that. But need to weaken halves.

To be honest, I’m struggling to discard McInnes from my squad, despite the obvious financial benefits. And a few of those recent posts took a bit of appeal away from JMK, for me personally. I might still talk myself into Friend, especially if he goes well in trials.

I can still slip Croft in for JMK too, I’m confident Croft will make money, just dunno how much!

Starting with a guy like Friend I’ve found has helped me balance my squad better.

I'm worried for you guys if Friend only sees 50 minutes with Verrills on bench. Come TLT if Verrills is named 14 what will the teams with Friend do?

I could be banned from the site for this, but has anyone considered Ash Taylor? I know, I know. But I genuinely feel like he’s in for a big year, and at $495k I have little doubt he’ll make some good money. I have had him in a draft version of my team, but not at the minute. Just something about both he and Holmes that I’m liking for some reason. I wouldn’t encourage anyone else to go with Ash Taylor, but maybe one to keep in mind? I can be a sap, but I feel like the addition of his son will be a perfect motivator.

I’m so conflicted on Haas, he’s obviously going to be cheaper at some point but his floor is keeper level
