    Going with a gun like McInnes could then mean I need a cheapie in the halves like Mann and may not be able to afford David Fifita. I wanna try and avoid having to do that.

    If Milne and Talau get 2 centre starting spots for round 1 happy days I may run with both, I wanna spend as little on centre as possible.

    Unless there are injury concerns over Friend, I'll likely be sticking with him.

    I just can't see why the best team of the past few years would suddenly change how they operate.
    Other than a few weeks towards the start of 2018, a fit Friend has always been a big minute player key to the Roosters game plan. I don't think he is that old/injured that he'll suddenly stop doing what he has always done

    As a competitive game, WCC will go a long way towards whether I move away from Friend or not (keeping in mind that 2 years ago the WCC confirmed Croft in a lot of people's squads)

    Roosters would likely have Aubbs on the bench (if Crichton starts).

    Would they use another spot on Verrills? That would leave them with two middles on the bench. If so, someone in the middle would be playing big mins, unless they do the ol' mid game shift for crichton..

    Friend probably stays on the field if/when Verrills comes on.

    Personally I'm going to keep him and hope everyone else trades him out. Robbo loves a 65+ minute hooker and always has

    JMK will give you high floor low ceiling somewhere in the 40-50 range. At the start of the season when we all have fires to put out banking some solid points can be valuable

    It depends on bench makeup.

    He is priced at 37, but if he is a big minute hooker he should go 45+.

    JMK has always plaeyd around 60 minutes hasn't he?  What would change that he would suddenly become an 80 minute hooker? If he sticks with 60 minutes, I don't see him being worth it.

    He played 80 for about a month last year, then got injured. I think Katoa will sneak 15-20 off him each week.

    EDIT: but if Katoa is not in the 17, or subs as a middle in R1, I’m all over JMK because he’ll avg 50

    Does anyone take into account the bye rounds when building their starting team?
    Does anyone pick a minimum of players from the teams that are playing in round 12?

    Last year 11 of his 17 starts at hooker he played 70+ minutes

    11 of the last 12 starts he played 70+ minutes (and I think the other one was injury)

    Hmmm...definitely a viable option. I really need to find some time to have a play. Want to try and make a bit of a different team but a lot of the options are looking too good. 95% sure I'm starting with Haas.

    I used to be an avid bye planner, last year not as much, but this season's draw seems to be favourable.
    I'll be starting with McInnes and Moses as Rd 12 guns. Aside from that I'll probably have RJames, Lowe, Stimson, Brimson, BBrailey, and Lomax my starting team. So that's plenty of round 12 love there
