I started with Teddy last year but WFB was much more of a dart throw with guys like Sivo, Garrick, Ravalawa and Burns being in most teams. CNK was the only real equivalent to the likes of Isaako/Brimson last year

Re: Teddy, I think there is a lot of value at WFB this year, with Lomax, Isaako, Pap and Brimson all modestly priced, with 1st grade data on them and a clear increase in opportunity, similar to how stacked 2RF was with underpriced options last year (Murray, Matto, Arrow, Lane et al).

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 3
How likely is this Grant thing gonna happen? Either way does it change the forward mins/rotation?
Its hard to believe theyll just whack him in for 80. At a guess. How many mins will makaele get this year?

I don’t know if he’ll make it above NPR for me for time being. Only played 1 game at 5/8 with Cleary last year vs Eels for 18 points with 1 TA where Cleary had 477 KM to Luai’s 24 KM
Very unlikely he is in the 17 for me to start round 1. I imagine he will score similar to TMM used to with Cleary(low kick metres, reliant on attacking stats)

He was a bit more expensive if I remember correctly? Closer to a Pap price point. There's no reason Pap can't be the next Dedwards but I think it will still hurt a whole lot less since pretty much everyone will have him.

Having Friend as starting hooker over Cook/McInnes/Smith gives you so much extra cash to play with for only a small drop in scores. I think if I end up going this route I will probably have Haas to lock in a solid captaincy option

There is no chance I am putting Luai in my 17, I don't care how much I want the extra cash for elsewhere.

This is the way I'm going unless there is major concern over Friends minutes, but he is captain etc etc, can't see it being an issue.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 3
I'm currently running:
Friend
Haas, James/Knight/MoFo
Su'A, Fifita, Hess
JMK, Croft
Tuala, Lomax
Pap, Isaako, Brimson
Koro, Williams, Lowe, Brailey
Luai, Magoulias, Musgrove, Grant
Seems pretty cookie cutter at this point, gonna step away from it until TLT (I won't)

Hooker is so deep that it's hard to gun up and then also take 4 cows. I imagine Friend, Koroisau, BBrailey, Grant will be in most teams but we also have Levi, Turpin, Robson, Egan as possible options

You could add Jahrome Hughes, and he was pretty servicable.
RTS was mid 600's I think
Dugan wasn't priced too badly to start last year though I can't remember if there were many people on him. Guess he isn't much different this year.
I think someone started with Widdop???

Just on this, what’s the main reason Brailey of the J variety has never been mentioned? Is it because of Watson or even Mann possibly taking minutes? With Levi going surely there’s a chance for 80min, at a pretty good price too?

According to Baz Toohey, he will play pretty much 80, Watson will play similar to how he did off the bench at the Roosters,

One is a lock as captain all year, the other had a really poor start to the season and is in a position where there is a lot of value

I wouldn't say A LOT of value in WFB this year. There is definitely SOME value though. A little more than up at FRF right now but things could change pending news on Carrigan, Musgrove, Mikaele, Knight, Mofo, James, Merrin. We literally have Papy who is still pretty expensive, although should still be under priced. We have Brimson who people are hoping hits a 50 avg (I am happy with 40-45). We have Isaako and Lomax who are probably in the same boat as one another, then lastly there is Best who hasn't been a real world beater. There is definitely some value at WFB but I think there is potential for quite a bit of value at FRF. BUT!!! We haven't had the 3/4 basement price players come out as R1 starters yet.

Those with JMK realise the Bulldogs went and bought Sione Katoa
Who knows what Dean Pay will do though as the best half in the club is Brandon Wakeham but Pay seems determined to play Lewis. I think ill have Wakeham as an NPR from the start of the season, shouldnt take long for him to get a run

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 3
Nice to see the forum so active before the season! Hoping to be more active around this joint this year.
Caught up on thread 2 and didn’t notice anyone mentioning Capewell. Is there a chance he can push Yeo to the bench and Yeo to be the utility and bench replacement for JFH? Could be an option with the CTR DPP. Have to wait until TLT though.
