Some great analysis on here as always. I’ll try and give some knights insight when I can

Mann front runner for five eighth partly by default with Lino coming back from surgery and Phoenix having a disrupted preseason and being s bit raw

Best will 100% start when fit this year. I’ve got him atm but be warned he’s injury prone and has been all through juniors

O’brien has been great for the club. Even comes to Harold Matt’s and SG training at times. Very invested and hard working and is working well to change the culture and level of professionalism of the club. Hoping it pays off in the long run and for a good year this year.

I was eyeing off fitzgibbon this year for fantasy as he came back to training early but is in a boot atm for his ankle so will see how he bounces back

    My draft is

    Friend
    Haas knight
    Sua Lowe Difita
    Cleary Moses
    Talau Lomax
    Best pap brimson

    Stimson
    Korisau
    Brailey
    Grant

    Luai
    Magoulias
    Musgrove
    Star Toa

    32k itb for cows

Main goals were a touch of bye and origin planning, more of a guns and cows strategy than last year to save trades so I can be more aggressive when the cows are clearer

Moses may drop to Mann to allow a backrow upgrade potentially

Will all change by TLT let’s be honest but pick it apart lads!

Does anyone take into account the bye rounds when building their starting team?
Does anyone pick a minimum of players from the teams that are playing in round 12?

As someone who has never bye planned a day in his life and never finished in the top 1000 (read into that what you will). My sage advice would be if you are trying to pick between 2 players and 1 player plays round 12, use that as a decision point. Same with an origin player and an international player. Other that don't build your team around it.

Not here to boast, but I put a stop to pre-season bye planning at the start of 2018 and have had my best two years since.

I think its over-rated. As you said, if it comes down to splitting two players, then certainly go with the guy who plays round 12, but otherwise, I am personally not worried about it.

So much happens between the start of the season and origin..

I'll be starting with McInnes and Moses as Rd 12 guns. Aside from that I'll probably have RJames, Lowe, Stimson, Brimson, BBrailey, and Lomax my starting team. So that's plenty of round 12 love there

I got murked last season in the bye rounds.

    Which combo is better?

    1: Haas + Matterson + JMK

    2: Merrin/James + Taumalolo + Teddy

    3: Papalii/Klemmer/Lodge + Taumalolo + Turbo

That's about as expected for Tigers. I guess trials might change the bench around a bit.

But that lineup would make Harry Grant most selected player in the game

Harry Grant is an auto pick at 9, and a safe scorer for everyone's 17.

It won't even matter what he scores.

No Eisenhuth? Wasn’t he getting the most mins towards of the forwards the end of last year?

Corey Thompson will be hard done by if he misses out. He was easily one of the Tigers' best last season.

Both won't be focal points in attack, and defense numbers will be dictated to by the flow of game. Prefer Carrigan if he starts, JWilliams if he starts, Stimson if he starts, LLeilua if he starts.

Is anyone considering Murray to take on more minutes?

Why do people think this is a possibility? TPJ and Ofa are ahead of him for the lock spot, unless I've missed something.
