100% agree on Hethrington. He was about the same price last year and I started off with him. Wasn't a massive deal, but we had to part ways either the second or third round in because he only played around 25mins in the first two matches and that was it for the year. I have no idea why he fell from "grace" so far after a decent 2018. But I wouldn't be taking the punt on him unless something has drastically changed and he'll be given a proper chance with good minutes this year.

Lowe has plenty of low 30 scores in 80 min games. Until bennett signed him he couldnt make the NRL. Until he had a beast of a game in origin he wasnt a starter. Not saying he will be a fail, but its easy to see why people are wary.

In this outrageous heat all I have to do is tinker with my team. Currently with out laptop, so research is massively limited. Here is what I came up with.

For sure, plus you mix in whatever inevitable big brain Bennett shenanigans we'll get through the season and there is plenty of cause to be wary. I just think he and Su'A sit completely alone in their position/price point for potential and increased opportunity. Worst case they are an easy trade out for the hot new cash cow

Lowe was good for a few years at the cowboys till they ruined his confidence and game, took half a season at the bunnies to find it again. Be interesting to see what his peak avg was from a few years back

Might swap Cook for Friend but the Verils thing is annoying.

80min Garner is a bargain but could easily shift him to any one of Su'a, Lowe, etc to fund an upgrade.

No Haas is a big weakness but my team feels better overall without him. Probably chicken out though

DT journos think Stimson is only a bench player as things stand, having JJ, CHN and Elliot as the 11,12 and 13. Hard to disagree honestly. Only change I can see is Elliot benched, JJ to lock and Stimson starting.

Might as well lock him in and captain him now given how accurate the reporting has been over the off season

It's basically Elliot v Stimson for the starting spot. JJ was pretty good when he played lock last season.

I just think why would he move from a bench spot at Storm to a bench spot at Dogs unless he was earning load more money. I reckon he would have been promised a starting spot

So Ryan James out means a bigger role for someone. Who benefits the most?

Arrow already plays big minutes, about 57min last year. Could get some more, but he already has a couple of points of fanhub tax added and plays origin.

Bryce Cartwright could be in line for a starting edge role. Averages 42 there for the Titans (12 games). Priced at 33.

Mofo could be the biggest winner. Priced at 39.8 He averages 46 in games over 40 min (20 games avg of 53 minutes) Only one try in those 20 games. Average goes up to 48 for games over 50 minutes (avg 59 minutes)

Hipgrave is CHEAP at 298k. If he jagged the edge role he'd be in everyones team, demerits or not.

There should also be a bench spot up for grabs unless they put Peachey there.
