Uele has been given a 2.1 point fanhub tax. He's defo Fafita 2.0 but priced at 39 he'd need to start and get about 50 minutes I reckon to make it worthwhile. Could happen though especially with Fifita's knee thing.

What do you think about MoFo? The Titans appear to have a real lack of middles. I could see him starting and getting 50-55 minutes and scoring high 40's or maybe 50 if he jagged a couple of tries (zero last year).

I think for MoFo this is his break out year. Going to establish himself as one of the best props in the competition. Solid stats base aswell with a 45 average when starting prop.

Uele is going to be the beneficiary of the extra minutes rather than Williams IMO. The kid seems freakishly hard to tackle

Thanks for the feedback mate much appreciated. Yes Hess is an interesting one and a POD, I have heard he’s likely to get a second row spot with Cooper having retired I believe (correct me if I’m wrong on that I may have imagined it somehow somewhere lol). So would it be Hess and Wright in the back row? Even if Cooper is still playing I would have Hess ahead of Wright and you’d think Hess would get 55-60mins.

On Williams I’m confident he will play 50mins, concerns around Fifita in games or a concussion which are both likely to be happening at times could also see Williams even getting 55mins I reckon.

Really good point you make on Friend, even if he only makes say 70-75k it’s not a big fail and it allows you to get a balanced team and spend more in other positions.

The only fear I have is I was burnt by Friend last year and I was burnt by Burns too, if they both burn me again I may never ever pick them again!

Looks like Hess is actually behind wright. In a press conference the other day Hess said the spot is Wrightys at the moment. Sorry to disappoint

Just looked into Merrin's super league stats.

its a bit more comparable for forwards as opposed to backs.
He averaged 33 tackles and 100m a game, with 3 TBs and 2 offloads a week as well.

    Averaged over 50 easily.

Priced at 40, he should easily get past that (assuming he starts at lock)

If Uele starts ahead of Woods everyone will have him.

Cooper hasn't retired as far as I'm aware. From the reports it seems Hess has trimmed down and is aiming to get the right edge spot again, and if he does should be good value. I briefly owned Friend in 2018(?) and was a little burned, but it wasn't widely known at the time he was carrying a painful sternum injury. If he's fit he'll be fine I think. Same with Burns.

Not sure if this is an actual thing but something that is putting me off Taumalolo is he hasn't scored that well vs Broncos and Storm recently. Cowboys play Broncos twice and Storm once in the first 6 weeks.

If there's a hint that's how he'll go in trials he'll be very popular, but how do we explain away his 2017/2018 stats? Different team/coach/WAGS??

Any reason why Leleisiauo isn’t in the game yet. He is in Titans top 30 in nrl’s official contract list yet players like Gebbie and Niu who are in development squads are included. Would he just be added on TLT if named

Was going through his NSW cup stats but it takes ages because he’s not on the system anymore because I think Wenty Magpies aren’t in 2020 NSW cup so have to go through game by game.

How many minutes did he get a game over there though?

He may not get quite as many minutes here.

Looking at ownership right now tells you little.

If the player is good, their ownership will rise after trials and teamlists.
If the player is a dud then there is a reason nobody else owns them

That happened today, dropped Ponga and picked up Cleary for 3 reasons:
    1. Team balance - means I have a gun or near-gun in each position
    2. High chance that a top candidate appears that is very playable at WFB like Starford or Leleisuiao, will both be good enough to play in the 17 each week.
    3. Cleary playing without Maloney next to him is pretty unstoppable

    Because failhub.

Seriously though, I wondered the same thing earlier today and checked he was part of the main squad.

His 2017 stats are better than what he has priced at (though down on previous years)
His 2018 stats (ignoring interchange games) still give him a touch of value.

Dragons pack is stacked, so no guarantee he'll get the role we want. But definitely keep an eye on
