Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 4
hi milk, I'm jumping between mobile version and web version of this forum on my iPhone. Sometimes I can work out where to reply other times I can't. The app is pretty much the same as last season. There are major substitution and definitely trade bugs. I can still play but if things get really difficult I just get someone to log into the game for me and make my trades at the start of the week. Started last season off with two red dots and could not trade by myself until round seven. It was my worst season in five years and the first time since joining this forum I won't be in league L1 or L1 select. I'm still struggling with this fact. LOL

Personally I find the mobile version of the site confusing at times.
I always use the desktop version, even on mobile.
You did well just to keep playing after 7 weeks without trades

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 4
Few quotes from DCE regarding Walker, Levi, Turbo, Jurbo & AFB
Walker: Cherry-Evans said Cust and Croker would be the back-ups for No.9 and No.7. "Obviously Dylan finished the year at No.6 so there's no secret that me and him will be in the halves this year
Levi: "Danny is obviously tracking to be our hooker so there is a utility spot up for grabs - less chance of 80 mins for Levi
Turbo: He was ready late last year and is ready for R1
Jurbo & AFB: "Jake and Addin are both transitioning back into team stuff. They'll be close come the start of the season – it's still a fair while away so a lot of training to be done, which is a good thing for them," Cherry-Evans said. "Whenever they are ready… we obviously don't want to rush them back as they're important parts to our season."

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 4
To add some variety, here are a couple of names that haven't been mentioned here that might be worth looking at.
Wade Graham $580k
Priced at 40, averaged 45 as a starter last year (40 in 2018 and 45 in 2017). Probably better value around in second row but he is a possibility.
Reagan Campbell-Gillard $548k
Not sure what sort of role he'll get at Parra. Priced at 38, he averages 45 playing over 50 minutes.
I am not sure he'll consistently get the game time required, but he's a little bit cheaper than the other props people are considering.
Chanel Harris Tavita $447k
Discounted due to some interchange games last year. Averages 36 as a starer, priced at 31. Probably not enough of a discount. At a bit of an awkward price too, too expensive for a cheapie and not scoring well enough for a gun. If you think he'll lock down a starting spot and improve his performances in his 2nd year of first grade there is possibility he'll go well
Ashley Taylor $495k
Annoyingly he got a fanhub price bump. Averaged 32 last year but priced at 34.
If he gets his mojo back (and goalkicks). In 2018 he averaged a tick under 40, but wasn't goal kicker for most of the year. If he can get back to a 40 average plus a few points for goal kicking - he is a good option for those that can't (or don't want to) go up in price to Croft. But probably a safer bet than someone like Luai if you can find the cash
Lachlan Fitzgibbon $575k
Averaged 38 last year (priced at 40 though) but nearly 50 the year before (and 52 in 2017 when starting). I think he burned a couple of people last year hoping for him to keep the try scoring going and then let them down. Is he on your never again list or do you think 2019 was an aberration.
that'll do for now

Manly are the kings of having unused subs in their 17, so even if their is a utility on the bench, no guarantee they see game time.
Normally Des loves his 80 minute hookers too - last year was a bit of an aberration running both Fainu and Koroisau

Didn't it become normal for Des to carry a half on the bench at the Dogs ?
I don't think a utility on the Manly bench will impact Levi too much. More there as cover than to be in a hooker rotation.

Blindside wrote:Hi Greg,
Last year you wrote to us asking if we would please address the accessibility issues on NRL Fantasy.
To ensure we are keep you up-to-date, we wanted to write to you to notify you that, despite our best intentions, we've been unable to make any significant progress in this matter for the 2020 season. This is due many variables, some of which we have no control over, creating a difficult equation that resulted in our prioritising upgrading the Tipping products that will service 125,000-plus users in 2020.
Please be assured that we remain committed to improving accessibility compliance for all our products. NRL.com takes this matter seriously (the main site has accessibility features) and a product upgrade is still at the top of our requirements list for 2021's product.
We're sure that's not what you were hoping to hear, but trust you will maintain the faith and continue as a passionate and resourceful member of the NRL Fantasy community.
Best of luck this season.
Kind regards,
NRL Fantasy & Tipping
Terribly sorry to hear that mate! I truly think they just couldn’t be bothered

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 4
i guess the only interesting thing about that Broncos team is Pangai on edge (which is sort of what we were expecting)

I still don’t think he’ll play edge.
I’m still fairly confident offa will play lock and TPJ will be used as big min middle interchange

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 4
Tyrone May 5 week suspension and fined 25% of salary.
Really limits the chance of Luai lasting less than 5 weeks, locking him in as a must have

Maybe we can arrange for you to get a wildcard entry into L1? What do we think lads?
One day I'll be in league 1 too

Yeah, I couldn't afford to fit Dfifita into my McInnes/Haas/Moses/Friend draft... but there are some good low and mid-range options in the 2RF.

I'm not even sure if I'm going to make it into L51 this season... the competition was fierce last season. Too many fanatics doing well
