Does he really dominate Jack Wighton? A guy who had a breakout year getting called up to Origin in his first year in the halves. Given the raiders also have the first round bye I wouldn't feel the need to rush him in at all. There were 8 halves who averaged 50+ last season so scoring 50's isn't the holy grail.

It's an interesting question though. I don't think getting Haas in after six rounds is a problem money wise (if you haven't made enough by then, you're doing it wrong and won't do well anyway). But for some reason I don't like the idea of trading him in after six rounds, out again for origin and back in afterwards, 3 trades. He's a must have for final 17.

I could see Haas coming down to 850 range in the first 6 weeks. What sort of scoring would he have to do to lose that much?

"Before the season begins you can make as many Trades as you like, but after Round 1 you are limited to two Trades per week for standard weeks and four trades for rounds 12, 15 & 16, up to a maximum of 34 trades for the season."
