You wouldn't actually be able to VC Friend in this team (as it's only 1-13) so on the low chance Smith is a late out your best alternative for a VC would be likely Papenhuyzen which has a possibility of not being the greatest captain

My other realisation in making this team was that Stimson is gonna be a dud! I know he is popular but he ain't gonna make it big! You heard it here first!

I hope I am not the one who makes going for value a stupid decision Question Still going Smith/Friend (C, VC) Koroisau made his way back in. He does have quite a lot of value with no other recognised HOK in the team really. Hard to knock him back

    Smith
    Carrigan Mikaele
    Aubusson Williams Graham
    Williams Drinkwater
    Burns Bird
    Edwards Hughes Papenhuyzen

    Friend Koroisau Nicholls Luai

    Magoulias Musgrove Utoikamanu Kolaomatangi

You need to find a better balance between points and value. You'll burn through all your trades trying to upgrade all your mid-range players to guns.

I don’t see how Friend is a ‘must have’. Verrills was one of the Roosters best players in the GF. Scored a try, topped the tackle count and Friend only came on in the 2nd half. I know he was coming back from injury, but why would anyone think Friend is playing big minutes with Verrills their future? Plus, he’s injury prone. It’s a no from me, even at that price.

I really worry for Souths this year, along with Murray and Cook's scoring.

There’s plenty of depth in the forwards. Sironen hardly gets mentioned and he’s knocking on the door for a 2rf spot. There’s others too. As for knight at lock, I don’t believe a word out of Bennett’s mouth. Murray will be lock. They may bring in another middle for periods where Murray shifts to an edge in defence, but Murray is the ball player and it won’t affect his scoring. He won’t be playing 80 though.

Try owning Stimson in your first-13

I wouldn’t be giving up on Grant yet. He’s playing first grade somewhere this year, even if not the Tigpies.

Where do you think he might end up?

The only other teams that I can think of that might want a 9 immediately are Warriors and Bulldogs, and neither have any decent outside backs in their depth that the Storm could use.

Unrelated, but I woke up thinking I need Taumalolo in my team.

All looks pretty good except for Stimson, Croft, Best, Lomax, Milne, Talau, and Lelesiuao.

Particularly Stimson. Have a good look at his stats. Def not someone for your starting 17. Milne Talau and Lelesiuao will not start R1. Not is it likely that Koloamatangi will either. I got him as a placeholder.

Brimson's stats are also dodgy for that matter. I don't know how he has made it into so many teams

For those that were keen on Keary yesterday and want some help convincing yourself he will run the show..

Robinson - "We've tried to accelerate some learnings to cover Cooper and then the other part is you get excited about they guys that have to step into his shoes - guys like Luke Keary, James Tedesco, those decision makers on the field.

"It's not up to a 10-game halfback to fill those shoes, (Cronk's) major contributions were definitely around strategic decisions on field and that needs to be moved to Keary and Tedesco."

Take this with a grain of salt because its just a post from the Roosters forum, but apparently Keary has the all clear from teh specialists and there is no ongoing effects or added risk of concussion, basically he is back to the same level of risk as any other player now.

I don't see what is bad about a career average of 41.5 as 2RF priced at 27 if he starts at 2RF. It's obviously dependent on TLT but Dogs would be stronger with Jackson at lock and Stimson/CHN edges vs Elliot lock and Jackson/CHN edges. RFM is injured and has played middle in 2019, as has Britt

Hasn't your whole squad building been based on value, if so why are players who likely will get increased roles and are 10 points underpriced poor options

Can anybody tell me if I am being absurdly paranoid or did Nathan Browns picture change in the fantasy game? Perhaps Croft’s also- but that makes sense since they would want him in a Broncos jersey. Brown just changed his Parra gear for a new strip, and I can’t work out why for the life of me.

Do salary cap breaches mean the Storm play with one less on the field this weekend?

NRL can't do that... Or the Roosters would hafta play with only one player period.

Will be interested to see your squad and how you plan to make money without any of these guys in bold.... You gotta take some punts to start the season and the Imson brothers are safer than most.
