I keep seeing J Williams in a lot of squads. I had in my draft teams before game came out but haven't picked him since
Priced 33, averages 37.5 in games over 40 mins (averaging 45 mins). Not that much upside with Sharks having a fairly decent pack/bench or am I missing something. I pick Lowe/Su'A each time over him

I'd love to, but having him really hurts elsewhere.

Would he not be up for a lot more minutes if starting? I think that is the basis for my interest. The same as Su'a. Lowe on the over hand is not much value if not starting.

I think there’s an expectation he’ll take Gallens role and most of his minutes. If he got 50-60 it would be enough to get him min low 40s, but I’m with you in that I think he’s a bit awkwardly priced and there enough uncertainty about the Sharks to avoid. I have Lowe/S’ua instead. Or possibly to spend the extra 30k on Leilua

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 5
I am a bit torn on Brimson. I don't think he is a must have but he does have an up-side. It is just hard to know what you are going to get with him especially being at the Titans. Can score well but then can also play a whole game for a poor return. Any thoughts?
He was in every team I made at the start, but now I am doubting his value. I don't think it is so straightforward.

Williams one of those that his scores don't look amazing from decent minutes previous, but with a full time lock role potentially and being talked up for years, is one who can certainly elevate his fantasy game

If he gets the higher end of 50 minutes long term I highly doubt he goes under a 45 avg

Another low end middie I keep wrestling with is Tapine. I have a fond association with previous fantasy form and Tapine has hit some decent highs
If Bateman spends some time on sidelines his role/involvement could increase further

Has anyone considerd Stephen Crichton as cut price Best WFB/CTR option. Apparently he is expected to start at CTR in the Panthers team this year. Priced about 60k cheaper!

Is he going to be on Cleary's side or Luai's?

Mate on the last page I posted my team, it was pretty much that, except I had Molo/Carrigan in there and I had Watkins over Best. I had Stimson/B. Brailey as well. Oh and I had Cleary over Moses as I think he outscores Moses the first 10 rounds.KingTeddy wrote:Friend

At the moment I've got room for 1 of BBrailey or Stimson.
Upvote for Brailey
Down vote for Stimson (assuming he is starting)

I divided 472,000 by 14529 and I got 32.48.Camo123 wrote:I keep seeing J Williams in a lot of squads. I had in my draft teams before game came out but haven't picked him since

Now I think he gets 50mins so on his ppm of around 0.85 he should average 42-43 so around a 9-10 points above his starting price.
That’s reasonable value and I’m not sure Luciano can do much better, priced at 34.6 I think he’s also gonna score 9-10 points above his average.
It’s a hard choice, but if the Tigers carry 4 forwards on the bench even with Luciano starting I think I will stay clear. If Luciano starts and they just have the 3 forwards on the bench I think that’ll sway me to pick Luciano over Williams.
Williams seems more of a safe bet to me compared to Hess or Tapine.

Reports that Bateman won’t be back until a few rounds in. Tapine is a good shout.

Tapine is a rare breed who seems to score better on an edge than in the middle.

He scores better at second row over lock too doesn’t he?Welshy wrote:Another low end middie I keep wrestling with is Tapine. I have a fond association with previous fantasy form and Tapine has hit some decent highs

I must admit I forgot about that re Bateman, but Raiders players the last year or two seemtk come back early from injuries so I wouldn’t be shocked if Bateman at the latest comes back by round 2.
