I'll probably be playing 2 250kers in my 17. Mitigating some risk by spending a bit more on guns. Not much different to the usual structure but obviously I'd prefer some sure thing cheapies

In that regard it is probably to your advantage that Grant doesnt play, if the cheapies you pick are servicable. Grant plays, everyone has him, and you gain no advantage

Totally agree, and it's why I'm not considering Murray or Cook this year. Rabbits will struggle to go forward.

Additionally latrell is about as fit as a 90 year old grandma so he is going to offer absolutely no line speed, too gassed to be around the ruck and will struggle to cover the backline.

Rabbits will struggle to make the 8 this year I think.

I mean Souths made the prelims last season with a busted, suspended and out of form Surgess, George was straight trash and Sutton rarely played big minutes, plus mass injuries for the second half of the season. Also a fat Latrell Mitchell is miles better than the mix of Johnston/Allan/Doueihi/Gagai at fb last year. Can't really see them regressing too much and I don't think I could name 4 teams that will finish above them let alone 8

He's been in almost all my drafts so far. I know what it's like not owning him, and while it's possible he starts slowly, he xould also start 70, 90, 70 and all of a sudden you've got to find a million for a WFB  or risk missing out on him until after Origin.

Pushed reset on my thought process. Will be trying teams with him over the next few days.

What have I missed with Musgrove, isn't he a long shot for a bench spot?

Sounds like they arent sold on the Mbye at hooker solution. Would guess if the swap doesn't happen they will target another hooker that is out of favour elsewhere.

I fan boy'd training today   Very Happy  I couldn't help myself and asked Momers if we got to keep him this year.  He said he "wasn't sure what was happening with all of that" which is the exact answer I expected and then felt really bad and apologised for asking and he said "nah nah, all good, not at all, everyone wants to know".  Seemed like a really nice bloke.

In other news Lucy looks fitter than I ever thought he would.

    Laugh 3

Actually didn't get to talk to him unfortunately. I was kind of glad afterwards because I would have mentioned Fantasy and that would have put the mockers on him.

It was 36 degrees at midday and he looked pretty fresh still. Bloke who seemed to be struggling most was young Johns (I think it was him) or could have been Billy Walters, I think I was mixing them up when I watching.

If the Momo trade is not granted, I am thinking of picking M'bye as a WFB, regardless of his past form. His brief stint at HOK in 2017 was in a fill in role. All he did has pass from dummy-half without no attack stats at all to speak of, except for a try in the one game he scored 61. With a pre-season training in the position, I expect him to score better and am using his stats at HOK in 2017 as an absolute floor. There is no 80 minute HOKs that I can think of that dont average 40+ or push 50.

Reed Mahoney is a prime example.

Lucy is very high up on my watchlist.

If he starts I’ll have to analyse the Tigers bench and then try gauge if he will get enough minutes.

If the Tigers carry Reynolds in the 14 and Lucy starts then it looks good for him.
