Agree with this too. Hopefully we start planning more towards our future with our forwards.

    Lowe sucks pass it on.

That game in origin was huge but without that, people wouldnt even be sure he would make the Souths 17

Nicholls aint fantastic but he does a pretty good job. Goes about his business quietly. Proper bennett benchie

I actually thought Mason Lino was injured, which is why Mann was going to play 6.

Is there a chance Lino will play in round 1. I would have though he is a better option

This is what you proposed. Nice attempted deflection though.

What odds about Drinkwater getting the half ‘gig’? That’s the bet I’m interested in, but now you’re backing away.

I’ll tell you what the odds are. 100%. He was always starting half once Holmes joined the club. He’ll easily average 50 there, but I won’t take that bet because that would be like taking money from a baby.

Don’t get too cocky because James got injured for the season last year. A real man would have cancelled the bet :pp:

I doubt you know much about our club, but Siro, Koala, Jack Johns and Rodwell are all quality and the future. We have also signed another edge forward you’ll hear about in the next week or so. These are far better prospects than a Cowboys reserve grade discard. He was only ever bought for depth. If he was to be our regular edge starter, our year would be over before it started.

Blessing in disguise. Our depth is great. Watch.

If Lowe’s knee injury keeps him out a while what changes do you see to the pack Rabz?

Apart from my team being on the receiving end, I really enjoyed watching Koroisau and Cleary play together. Crisp service and just enough work around the ruck to always have space. If they can manage to play 9 reserve graders every week that would be a nice boost

Does anyone reckon Mcinnes will get 2RF dpp if moved to lock during games?

It wouldn't really make him any more appealing for me given all the good options at 2RF. I wouldn't be swayed to put him at 2RF when he's one of the premium HOK options (though I haven't had him in any draft yet)

From all I've heard and read Mann's got the nod ahead of Lino

I think Koroisau looked really sharp out there. Might be in for a big year so he’s in my team

Lino is only just back from surgery. Mann will start round 1 from what I’ve heard. Both looked good in the 9s but Mann is ahead for his mobility and defence. Pearce will do most of the long kicking. Mann at five eighth gives us better balance IMO and gives Pearce and ponga a 5 point bump each at least vs when link is in the team

6 and a second row are our recruitment targets for next year no doubt

    Su’a was shit tonight.

Why would Drinkwater start ahead of Valentine Holmes?

Drinkwater's played most of his career in the halves, I'd expect him to score better there than at fullback.
I've had him in my team for the last week or so, being priced at 28 I would expect him to at least be able to average around the 40-ish points.
I also have Mann and Luai in my draft, so whoever looks good and scores well gets into the 17

They were talking about easing Holmes in by starting him on the wing, like Parra did with Hayne.
I think they should just start him at FB and if he gets gassed, get Drinkwater to swap to FB during the game to give Val a breather on the wing

No way man. Easier swap during a game would be with Feldt. If Drinkwater plays in the halves then he has to stay there.
