Holmes will be fine. He's like 24 and been training the house down all preseason. I'd be surprised if he was "eased in"

Keeping a keen eye on Isaako today. After watching (albeit the 9's) game, he almost passed the ball off everytime he was at the back when he had opportunity to run. His best asset apart from kicking is his running game. So today, I'm politely asking Isaako to not be a CAT

"It has been really good to have the full pre-season there after Seibs said 'just focus on left centre' so I don’t have to worry about catching [bombs] or the other things I would if I’d been put in another position."
With Staggs having right centre on lock it looks like Bird is going to be the bench utility

It was very "Broncos of the last few years" all round yesterday. Too much sideways stuff, no one really willing to take the game on, until a bit of a dig at the end.. milford didnt really seem to know how to inject himself*
*only 9s and all that doesnt matter

Its honestly pretty laughable that Boyd would start left centre over Bird..
I watched Birds interview re playing fullback and it sort of seems like he may be a real chance of getting it. I guess he would be gunning for it now if its his only way of gettinf a starting spot

It was also laughable that Boyd started at all in any position last year though

Sele is on a trial & train deal with Souths & he has a month to prove himself. Souths have 2 spots left for their 30 man roster.

No doubt 30 years ago Boyd ends his career captaining reserve grade.
But dropping name players is not the done thing anymore. So completely washed Boyd as a auto selection in 2020 is a thing.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 6
Boyd would be fine at centre or wing imo. It should have been done a year ago though, and at very least when Bird did his ACL. If we did the right thing back then, then there woukd have been waaay less of a pile on
There is no way that Boyd is currently a better option than a fit Bird.

Little update on the Grant/Momo trade but not a whole lot we didn't know already I guess
The question the Wests Tigers now really want answered is where is the Momirovski-Harry Grant exchange deal with the Melbourne Storm up to?
And the answer is we should get a clearer picture in the next 72 hours once the Melbourne Storm make their next move.
The exchange deal for Momirovski to go to Melbourne Storm for this season and young gun Harry Grant to become the Wests Tigers hooker looked all sewn up bar the shouting.
The paperwork has been submitted to the NRL.
Trouble is, the Storm made a miscalculation in relation to their salary cap and as it sits right at the moment they can’t quite fit him in. It’s believed that the move would put the Storm club over the cap by as little as $15,000.
The Tigers need an answer by Monday or Tuesday next week because if it’s not happening then captain Moses Mbye needs to start training at hooker.
Mbye has spent some time in at dummy-half over the summer but if the Grant deal’s off, he’s the Tigers No. 9 for round one.
Little update on the Grant/Momo trade but not a whole lot we didn't know already I guess

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 6
I dont know the ins and outs of the swap deal but if its held up over 15k, could they not just delay bringing on Momo by two weeks? Eg if momo is on 350000 then thats about 7k a week.. just take him on a couple weeks later..

Couldn't view it personally so thanks for posting, this would be good news for Crichton, priced at 48 and averages 58 as a starting 2RF so could easily score as well as Matterson/Arrow and be a steal at $695k

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 6
Andrew Webster seemed of the opinion that Crichton may actually play centre. I have no idea if he has contacts at the Roosters or whether it was just his personal opinion, it was hard to tell with the way it was written
