I hope they fix the app ahead of the season starting. You still can’t switch players around between npr and 14-17. Will cause chaos if they don’t get it right.

This always happens when it is unlimited trades. You have to remove the players to swap their position, which is a really poor feature

So, that means he's either nailed in at centre, or, they're so worried about how broken he is, it's only a matter of weeks before he gets busted again....might be time to look elsewhere for a cheap starting centre.
Moga is still getting up to speed after a minor hammy strain so they are reluctant to risk him given our centre options are not the BEST..

I think it is just because Sky in NZ broadcast it, and Fox just pick up the stream? I could be wrong.
IMO streams are fine for trials. There wouldn't be a lot of demand outside of Fantasy circles. I believe the NRL is actually using their own platform/infrastructure this year (rather than use Telstra's) to provide the streams, so they may be using it as a testcase for rolling out their own streaming service down the track.. so with that in mind, things could go well or go very bad

Up/down works well when you have a full squad. I think it’s more if you’re still building your team and you have Lomax at centre but want him WFB, you can’t switch to an empty slot. You have to take him out and put him back in.

I'm secretly hoping O'Brien gives Shiba a run.

Shiba will very likely be the right centre.
Moga is in the frame to replace Best at left centre.

Doesn't have any actual quotes but it does say that Papali'i will be a middle forward this season.
Not sure who plays edge? Official sites often don't mean much and just get updated by the social media guy, but the warriors site lists Blair as a 2nd row and Papali'i as a Lock

Trialing some different team structures in the lead up to season opening making sure we aren't missing something
Attempt at a gun halves team, feels a captaincy option short
Friend
Knight, Merrin
Fifita, Su'a, Stimson
DCE, Cleary
Watkins, Moga
Papy, Drinkwater, Crichton
Moses, Koroisau, Carrigan, Brailey
Luai, Grant, Saab, Magoulias

Not sure there will be 4 x $228k players. How much cash do you have? There may only be 1 or 2 $228k worth it, whilst you forego Musgrove, Magoulias and maybe Grant.
Don't get me wrong, I like your team.
You Lolo + Kikau + Brimson + SCrichton vs Me NBrown + Ponga + Capewell + Mann. I prefer yours but I can't have lolo due to balance of reserves.

And here I was still enjoying the off season thinking I should probably start looking at things.
Have been keeping a rough idea in my head of players that would be good, but there are too many variables at this stage
Decided I was going to wait until the trials this year and go from there but kinda missing the discussions
I build my team from rookies up though so really need to see TLT to really lock things in

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 7
Probably a solid nailed on 55 point captain play in first 6 weeks away from being a very appealing team. Too many ups and downs from your Gun half’s to get that and too many options would leave my head spinning. Might be Friend but I’m worried about Verrils to nail him as captain optionmultiple.scoregasms wrote:Trialing some different team structures in the lead up to season opening making sure we aren't missing something

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 7
Just had another look at things trying to reduce players priced between 30 and 40 points (roughly 450K to 600K). Trying to get back to cows and guns team.
Api (493K but obvious value)
Hass (C), Carrigan
Lolo, NBrown, DFifita
Cleary (VC), Mann
Capewell, Lomax
Papenhuyzen, Drinkwater, Aekins
JWilliams (472K but obvious value if starting lock), BBrailey, Musgrove, Magoulias
Luai, Curran, Rudolf, Leleisiuao.
