Aekins also probably only the 6 weeks of gametime as well (obviously price is a factor)
I hardly ever look at the draw when picking players at the beginning of the season.

BTW, this copuld be interesting.
https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/119759288/all-black-ardie-savea-100-per-cent-keen-on-potential-shock-switch-to-nrl
For those that dont know of him, Ardie is a beast in Union, he has a damaging running game and at 26 has some good years in front of him. Will be interesting if he makes the move.
You guys that know league will be able to say where he might fit in, but listed as 95kg and 1.88m, could be suited to lock? In Union he makes a ton of tackles, is super fit, and runs very hard.
Edit: a lot of those highlights are from when he was quite young (playing for the NZ 7s team), he lost a bit of pace when he bulked up for 15s but is still really quick for his size.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 8
Sione suspected grade 3 MCL (same as mcinness so 8 weeks minimum). Awaiting MRI results from last night but Physios rarely get it wrong as it's pretty easy to tell.
Also said guerra on the outer apparently, not pushing hard enough at training. He mentioned Jirah is a dark horse for that spot but again like me is just guessing until it actually happens at training etc
This weekend should be pretty revealing

This is mostly good unless my last client on Friday keeps me from checking final team lists for the 5pm game.......

This would be awesome to see the best player in union try league. Not that bothered if he doesn't choose Warriors, but he'll be great for the Kiwis or Samoa.
I'd pick him at Lock, Second Row or Centre. His running game is pretty good, and you could put him next to a half that isn't as strong defensively. Such a busy worker. Fantasy would start him at $800k probably haha

Only looking at guys with a chance of improving with the exception of Shibasaki, who is there only because he is DPP and likely to get a start. I'm looking at having a bit of cash in the bank for round 1 to cover for bad choices and injuries, and to pick up missed cows and under-performing guns. Would like at least 400k ITB.
Also, have been wondering why a few people don't think Aubo is the Black Widow anymore.
Your lack of a captain option would be my biggest concern.

StormTrooper96 wrote:Frizell (582K) and priced at 40 points. Off contract at the end of the year with Pearce and Klemmer begging him to come to the Knights, I think he is bound for an uptick and could be a handy POD. averaged just under 48 (47.7) points in 2018 and has proved he can push 50 (averaged 51.4 in 2015). Last year (38.7) was by far his worst in his career and was constantly asked to move around due to injury.
If he can get back to playing 60-80 minutes on the edge I think he could possibly be 7-10 points underdone and either turn into a borderline keeper or become a great stepping stone to a gun around Origin time.
Finding a POD in 2rf around this price is hard because there are so many option 550K and under that could score similar to some of these players. With this pick, you know what you are getting; an absolute work horse who gets through a lot of work and knows how to find the try line.
I think it’s likely Frizell will score 45-50 this season. The NRL.com articles of Knights players begging him to move are the shits tho. How about an article with Tariq Sims begging him to stay for balance??
I just think there are players at 2RF who will make as much cash from a lower cost base with less risk. And also score nearly as many points.

I haven't seen myself recently but he seemed to think guerra was lower in the pecking order and had been cruising a bit too much. Can't stress enough though that we hear stuff but don't sit in on selection meetings or get told directly what's happening aside from pressure to get someone back when they are a starter etc, mostly wait to see what's happening at training. This weekend we'll have close to our full strength side and be starting with as close to our round 1 team as possible so should give us a fair idea
I'm also mostly with the younger sides and cup. Should get to do a few games early in the season but which will be cool

Just watching this Panthers trial. Gee that Burton has a boot on him. One to keep an eye out for if not on TLT then later in the season perhaps.

Funnily enough he is listed with a DPP of CTR/2RF in SuperCoach..

Capewell bench probably makes sense as he can cover backs as well. I feel as though Yeo is better suited to middles thesedays, though, but seems like Panthers are pretty limited. One injury in their forwards and they're up against it immediately.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2020 Part 8
I'm assuming Aubs is no longer the Black Widow as they have overlooked him for Centre with Crichton the Latrell-in-Waiting.
If Aubs plays 80 @ 2RF he generally scores well, with DPP (CTR) designation, and priced from previous Widow-season
Just need to hope that he actually has shook that 'Utility' tag...
