Looks great. Obviously you've gone for value in the 2rF but it is not really a weak spot. Your bench is super strong too.

I think it’s likely Frizell will score 45-50 this season. The NRL.com articles of Knights players begging him to move are the shits tho. How about an article with Tariq Sims begging him to stay for balance??

I just think there are players at 2RF who will make as much cash from a lower cost base with less risk. And also score nearly as many points.

Or maybe some Knights edge forwards begging him to stay Very Happy

From what I've read I expect Stimson and Jackson to be second rowers. Elliot/CHN/Faitala Mariner all to play middle.

Dean Pay and Stimson go back to Origin under 20s I think and their relationship from that went a long way to getting Stimson to the Bulldogs. Feel like CHN will create even more in the middle of the field off the bench (less chance of missed tackles also).

what are people's concerns with knight, need to free up cash and considering bringing carrigan off the bench to start and trading down Knight but his .92 ppm and 50+ mins scores are so hard to get rid of

Pretty much confirm Murray will be playing/starting on an edge and moving into the middle at points of the game.

Carrigan is cheaper and I can find better value in the second row.

Still my team only will change another 700 and odd times before round 1.

    LOL

Last week I was thinking NRL.com was the chief recruitment officer for Newcastle. One day Klemmer is spruiking for Frizell to head up there, the next it's Pearce. F-off, he should stay in the 'Gong ok?

    https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/119759288/all-black-ardie-savea-100-per-cent-keen-on-potential-shock-switch-to-nrl

For those that dont know of him, Ardie is a beast in Union, he has a damaging running game and at 26 has some good years in front of him. Will be interesting if he makes the move.

You guys that know league will be able to say where he might fit in, but listed as 95kg and 1.88m, could be suited to lock? In Union he makes a ton of tackles, is super fit, and runs very hard.

Edit: a lot of those highlights are from when he was quite young (playing for the NZ 7s team), he lost a bit of pace when he bulked up for 15s but is still really quick for his size.

    Can't see it happening.
He would command a fair bit of coin already. Are the Storm or Roosters going to shell out big money for someone who's never played the game before? Doubtful.
If he did (and I doubt he will do in his prime) make the switch, it'd be with a club willing to take a punt like the Titans, or maybe the Bombers (please change the name) when they enter the comp as a publicity thing.

Much more likely he plays some union in Japan or France because that's where he'll see the most coin but I expect he'll be playing for the ABs through til the next world cup.

Someone messed up the editing in this piece

Switching to the left will also see Murray tasked with shutting down any targeting of Walker in defence, with the attacking maestro averaging 48.5 missed tackles a game across his four seasons of NRL.

48.5 missed tackles a game for Walker apparently

Chris smith only partial ACL tear and full MCL tear - looking at 12 weeks
DWZ cleared of serious injury. Will fly to Port Macquarie for the trial and be assessed a little closer.
