Next year I think I’m not even registering until TLT. Once I was in had too little self control not to waste hours on many versions of teams that are worthless. I’ve got a sometimes stressful job and a lot of children that sometimes need me, what the fuck am I doing? #codeincrisis

I've gone from Haas and Carrigan the only two FRFs i'm interested in to all of a sudden having Merrin back and Knight of interest too. Maybe I'll be Haasless after all......

Fifita will also do something on Sunday to make him the flavour of the FR week no doubt.

Boyd and Brimson apparently will be fit for R1.
There was no news on Mofo on the Nrl app???
You'd think Sami replaces Pearson on the wing with Brimson going to FB
Peats at 16? Is this just to rest him before the season or is Rein the main Hooker and Peats will spend some time in the middle?

Yep, a fit Fatfita is also of interest.

As expected Pearson, Don and Sami are ahead of Leleisiuao. A timely reminder that coaches don't care about your fantasy team and will lean towards established veterans over average rookies

Hiku is coming back but has the left locked up. Fusitua is definitely going to be right side. He looked pretty good during the trial too.

As someone who is going against the grain by starting 2 cheap halves and paying more for my WFBs, im guessing the logic is that there are more genuine gun options for WFB meaning you have several to choose from when upgrading = you are more likely to get one at a reduced price. With a smaller pool of genuine guns in the halves you may not get the luxury of trading in a gun at a reduced price. I also think, the WFB pool is bigger for value picks.

Personally, ive chosen to go with HLFS/WFBs in my halves (Brimson and Drinkwater) and am starting a gun WFB which at the moment is RTS.

I like the RTS pick but you'll miss not having that dominant half racking up those big points. Both Brimson and Drinkwater have the potential to be duds. At least with Cleary, Moses or DCE you know what you're gonna get

Just had a look at Andrew Fifita for the first time this year

Averages 60 when starting at Prop and playing decent minutes (removing less than 40 minute games)
Good for 35 tackles and 120 metres every week + huge ceiling. I think I'll have to make room for him if fit in the trials

Knight may spell the end of Haas in my team with a strong Shield performance. For just 33k I can have Lolo + Knight instead of Haas + Su’a, but more importantly it offers a second FRF option besides Carrigan who I am actually confident in picking. That is all assuming big minutes of course, which is hard to extrapolate in the Shield.

Seemed last year as well as rumors that he was actually on the outer and not really like by Morris. It's interesting he's starting in the trial as late last year he was relegated to the bench with only the likes of 30 minutes iirc. I'm cautious because of this, but the trial may give some insight.

I'm not sold on Papy, but I have to go with the crowd on that one. He's kind of own his own there (similar but not so much to the Haas v other gun debate)... just makes me too nervous to not go safe and pick him.

Trying to fit him into my side with some downgrades I'm happy to do

Cleary>Moses and Moga>246k centre still leaves me 60k short of Fifita. Probably can't be done without a few TLT surprises

Hass and Fifita would be an amazing set and forget Front Row pair. Carrigan can fit on the bench too. But yearh, need a few 2nd rowers to nab a starting spot, which looks like it will be too hard to do.

Who would you pair with Fifita?

Go expensive with Knight/Merrin or hope Carrigan is up to the task?

I've started with Fifita last 2 years, and would love to have him, but I really want to see proof of fitness (also if he comes in, someone else I want has to leave)

62 average for the first half of last year (excluding 6 minute game) is very good if his body is up to it

I would probably go Fifita and Carrigan(if lock) so I don't have to sacrifice too much elsewhere

I’ll get home from work at 5. Put it this way I think it’s gonna be a long night and still I’ll be adjusting things right until 5-10mins before lockout round 1.

Those who may start without Haas and go with A. Fifita are mad for mine.

Andrew will lure you all in this weekend and come round 1 could  easily break down!
