I'm still scarred by Ramien when in 2018 I was deciding between Ramien and Bird who was playing 5/8. I picked Bird who got 5 points and then got injured shortly after while Ramien went on like an 8 game try-scoring run

I am tossing up between him and burns but am really leaning towards Raimen, especially due to Burns' injury concerns. Raimen can also be a POD. Reckon Raimen will also have a big year returning to cronulla. What's your guys' thoughts??

Priced at 36. Removing injury affected game in 2018 avg was 40.7 Not seeing huge value

With possibility of Aubusson and/or Capewell in the centres, I think they are more deserving of your cash than Ramien.

I'd go Burns if I was picking a genuine centre for points

My thoughts echo Milch's post above.

I love Staggs and he damn well came through with the goods when i needed him last year.

Plenty of ctrs around that 500k tho.. staggs, ramien, joey leilua.. marsters..Manu...one will probably go boom.... you taking a 1/5 punt, or playing it safe

I respect a punt, do it

    Tigers Panthers stats

    https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1175-2020-trial-stats

Tigers try went un-assisted, but it was scored after a cutout pass from Doueihi that might well be credited in a real game. Tigers didn't get a single line break in the game. I didn't watch it, and seeing that stat makes me think I made a good decision.

Watched it. Wish I didn't. Watching a CC/Flegg trial for WT in the second half.

Edit - Madge will name a 23 man roster for warriors trial.

Just looking purely at jai arrows points, and not about whether he drops too much in cash, how do we think he’ll go? One of my favourite players, he surely gets an uptick in minutes due to James injury? What do we think? Would really love to have him in 2rf as a bit of a gun pick

Yeah he's a gun. Just about whether or not you need him. If you've already got David Fifita then no. Same goes if you already have a gun hooker and Haas in the same team.

What's the consensus on Cowboys GK duties? Surely Holmes or Feldt would be better than Marsters. Guy couldn't kick from the left side to save his live. Think his rate was something in the 60s, am I wrong?

Any love for Tapine? On record wanting the lock spot. Can see him getting it as well. Bateman out for a couple of rounds helps his chances to show what he is worth, too. If I remember correct he scores well against the Tits, who are Round 1.

Depends who plays in the halves for one thing. I'm still thinking Drinkwater but Clifford put in a decent trial also and would kick goals if selected I'd say. Otherwise I'd say Marsters but I don't have any inside info.

Holmes played 30 min in the 1st half for whoever was asking earlier. I was impressed by Carrigan, put in a heap of work. Lolo and Haas beasted it up as expected. Molo played big minutes and had a high work rate. Hess too. I'm expecting them to start rd 1. Can't wait to see more of Gilbert. I was impressed by Taulagi, he'd be my front runner for left wing.

It was suggested on the Cowboys forum that this weekends trial will be very close to full strength as it was last year, (most clubs I suppose) and that Clifford got big minutes in the trial just gone because Drinky will play the big minutes this week putting him in the box seat for rd1.

Yes very much on my radar but generally I avoid injury prone players. I might roll the dice with him though

Lolo and Hess scored 27 and 32 or something like that no?

No idea. Haven't looked at the stats, there were like 25 players with minutes all over the place, I'm not sure you can take much out of them, especially in those conditions. But we all know what they can do. I was more looking for form and minutes. Big minutes for Molo for example makes me think he'll be filling in for McGuire in rd1. Hess ran hard and made his tackles. Holmes caught the high balls during the down pour. That's really all I was looking for.

I forgot Robson and Cotter too, looked fantastic. Green likely to start with Granville still though I reckon.
