Two of my best picks last year were AFB & David Fifita

AFB - I was $5k short of Kapow so picked him
David Fifita - had been hanging round 400-500 spot for about five weeks and it was giving me the shits so I took the riskiest option

Also I didn't pick either Edwards or Holland but did pick Keighran, Host, Sele and Rava over Sivo

I've always said skill gets you in or around the top 1000, huge amounts of luck are needed to win the comp

Also Sele was inherently a good pick before he got injured round 1 then slept in and missed training

Another player that might be underpriced is Victor Radley.

Didn't get a constant run at his preferred position due to having to cover injuries. From round 18 onwards (I assume this is when Verills began starting at hooker), he averges 48.8. If you take out round 24 score where he only played 26 mins (possibly rested?) he averages 52.7 in 6 games. He is priced at 38.

    Worth having a punt?

Wasn't his preferred position actually hooker but Robbo turned him into a lock?

Can I change it to 'my preferred position to watch him play?'

That’s some quick and solid research! study
Playing 2x 20 minute stints seems fair enough to me, And no doubt some on this list came in just under 40, but 30 minutes still seems so little that I begin to question fitness levels. But that’s still good food for thought, maybe Mikaele is only ever gonna be a prop that plays 15 minutes at a time.

I'm thinking the same thing mate. Rads is a gun, however sometimes his scores dont translate to fantasy due to him going for huge hits and getting missed tackles ahahah. But seriously, he is one of the roosters most important player and if he can cut out some missed tackles he will be a keeper

How many less than 50 minutes? (or perhaps the reverse, how many play more than 50 minutes)

I'd say 40-45 mins would cover most starting props, other than the big hitters like Tolman/Haas/Fifita/Taupau and a few others

The other important thing is who gets the sub 40 minute appearances? Is it spread around evenly (caused by stuff like HIA/injury/specific game circumstances) or is consistently the same players each week.

With second rowers, there was only 1 guy who was consistently playing lower minutes as a starter (Frank Winterstein) everyone else only did it a couple of times, and was mostly injury related.

Radley has been talked up the past 2 years as someone about to emerge as a fantasy gun.

I don't think enough has changed to suggest he is about to take it to another (fantasy) level

With his knees being washed out (don't remember the correct terms), do we think Andrew Fifita will be fantasy relevant this year?

Andrew Fifita had an arthroscope and stem cell surgery on his knee before Christmas. The prop will play in the Sea Eagles trial.

we will find out this weekend !!

If fit he is the only prop that can rival Haas. He hasn't been fit for a while

So many tempting edge back rowers are going to appear within a $30k bracket of each other on TLT:
    Hess, Cartwright, Guerra, Tapine, Leilua.

If you could only get one, who is it to be?
So far I am on Leilua, but I am always open to contrary opinions.

I'm interested to see if losing weight actually hinders Leilua in terms of his output (TBs, offloads), although it'll help him play longer mins

I'd go Hess based on job security. All of them are likely to chop and change, but I think Cowboys are a much improved team and it's hard to change a winning team
