If Burton takes Luai's spot in the NRL, he'll probably make my team. Will look at having both Walters and Luai/Burton in my 21 and play one of them each week

I'm considering Horse. Bit concerned about Raiders making early returns from injury in the past, and there are other value forward options. He'll stay in the frame though

Not really interested in Grant at Melbourne, or Manly forwards. Too short term for my liking

Luai/Burton and Walters do look good.
I'm a bit concerned about running with Musgrove and this new kid on the block JTB. They are cheap, but as MS pointed out in previous posts, bench props don't usually translate well into fantasy value. But in saying that, there don't seem to be as many bottom dollar 2RF/WFB/CTRs available as in previous seasons...

This sounds stupid but has anyone considered George Jennings? I’m assuming he’s got a centre spot with Parra.

Parra’s draw looks like it could be filled with attacking stats for the first month. Could see their centres and wingers having a field day potentially. + his historical points versing the first month opponents is well above his average/price.

Mid range wingers are a supercoach pick not fantasy

I had him ranked above Knight until the "injury"

If he starts at lock round 1 he is in my team

Might be good news for my old mate Carty 🕺

Definitely party time. Think Stone was the main threat but he’s on the bench for the trial.

Hipgrave has been in the nrl.com Titans predicted R1 side even though he hasn’t been able to do contact training since mid-May. Shit research. Feel for the guy though.

Michael Jennings and Waqa Blake would be the centres wouldn't they?

Oh yeah I forgot about Waqa!

Well, scrap GJennings, but Sivo/Fergo could be up for some big scores if the draw goes the way it should re: Parra points.

Thanks White Lightning. I thought it might have been a bit over the top, but it makes me laugh when I see it. All this pre-TLT decision making is a bit like that, but that is half of the fun and good to have people to talk about it with. I keep changing my team every day.

Ain't that the truth & it's going to become even more stressful when we're 1 hour out from lock out & we still have no idea on our team haha. That's when the self-loathing sets in.

Stage 1 - 6 months out from lock out where we're so pumped & happy that nrl fantasy is around the corner
Stage 2 - we start composing our teams & we are still pumped & happy but confusion/anguish sets in when we realise we can't afford half the players we want
Stage 3 - omfg lock out is tomorrow, I have created 100 teams & I'm more confused as ever so we pray to the fantasy gods for assistance/guidance
Stage 4 - lock out is over & this is my crap team & it scores no where as well as I was hoping & after the first week my rank is rubbish.....that's where the self-loathing sets in & the trade rage begins.

Panthers update from Bega: “Viliame Kikau has been rested while James Fisher-Harris (shoulder), Mitch Kenny (elbow) and Kurt Capewell (quad) are unavailable as they continue to rehabilitate their respective injuries”. Still should be a great game though!

I've been pushing this one since the sevens. Including posting it on reddit literally less than an hour ago. People seem to like it.
I don't see how he can avoid that as a nickname in fantasy circles. Razz
