I can see he is good value if you analyses based off of starting 2RF numbers (although Im not convinced it is value enough compared to other options). That said, surely you need to take into account the risk he gets benched, which presumably is higher than other players who present with similar value. Last year for example, out of 23 games, 11 were from interchange and those interchange appearances occurred at three different times of the year (could perhaps ignore more if they were all clumped together).
So, has anything changed re Carty? do we see him as locking down that starting role more so that last year (a lot more so?)
Well when he was at the panthers, he looked like a half decent player, just needed a few more minutes. Then he went to the titans, and the titans were the titans.
New coach, starting position in the 2rf, could be what we all hoped for 2 years ago.
Not sure we should be assigning Maubs status to him yet.

The new coach has swapped him to the right (his preferred side). That might be a sign that the coach has some faith in getting the best out of him. He's trained all pre-season there.
They don't have a whole lot of other options at the moment.
OK cheers! Might be worth a punt although on the fringe in terms of value IMO. At starting 2RF, my first take is I'd expect 40-45 placing himi at ~9 points value (point estimate). Thats in my Brailey zone but for more money.
You considering him?

I kind of want to take a punt on him, not sure I have the room with the other value among 2rfs. He could be a smokey to be one of the better picks though.

God hope its just part of the initial price. Seems like it was a subjective bump up or down, and my understanding it was to encourage teams not to be so similar. I.e. people are actually considering Brailey in or not as it stands, whereas with out the subjective bump, he'd be in all teams. In doing so it makes choosing the rest of the team harder and arguably making fantasy skill more relevant
I've noticed a lot of similar teams on here, but I guess that's just us right? The main differences seem to be
Friend or no Friend
Taumalolo or no Taumalolo
Moses or Cleary
Watkins or no Watkins
Personally I'm a Friend, Tolo, Moses, no Watkins kinda guy

Cheers mate. First bye, perhaps upside of 50 ave?? Not sure I'll be able to pull the trigger on that one though. Now convinced he's one to watch at least.

What was Taukeiaho when he first started? You could select him at WFB - was he also a FRF or 2RF
Taniela Tuiaki may have been a winger/prop at one stage as well
Yep. Had him in my WFB that rookie year when he was coming off the bench.

I think the analysis on here is pretty good in general so Im not suprised the bulk of the teams have the same core guys. Teams will be largely separated on composition (how many guns vs cows etc) and on the choice of those. Anyone who doesnt have the key value guys will ultimately be out of the equation come back end of the comp (at latest).
Friend is a no brainer IMO
Tolo for me is a Q of Tolo vs Haas
Thats because I think Cleary and/or Moses needs to be in the team (though (impossible?) to get Cleary/Moses, Haas and Lolo + all key mid rangers).
Yeah, thats where I think most of the teams will differ, not just Watkins, but the other base price guys AND whether or not they are in the starting 17...
Gonna be fun

One of the most interesting picks I saw im the Assistant Coach thread was Thomas Mikaele from the Tigers. What is everyones thoughts if he starts? Only played over 40 minutes 3 times last year but averaged 44 points. He doesnt have the biggest scores last year but he is only 22 and starting could produce. Not as valuable as Knight or Carrigan though and that probably counts him out of contention.

Doueihi will be pissed if he isnt FB and its not likr they dont have Momirovski still who could play there.

Not enough Charnze avatars floating around i reckon. Or Whitehead, he definitely doesn't get enough love
I don't support an NRL team,I only really got into rugby league through this forum and fantasy league! But I do love watching the raiders and especially Leipana!

Thank you so much! Only took me around ten years to get one!!
Whilst we're asking for basic tech advice - can you multi-quote across multiple pages?

Great,thanks!
After years of wondering why the time for posts was always off - I realised I had Singapore time set by default.
Today has been a productive day.

The source for Doueihi is some guy on the Tigers forum who said he got it from Doueihi in person.
Mbye is short term injured.
Momirovski missed last trial for injury - not sure if Douehi gets centre because Momo still injured or if he is preferred, guess more clues will be apparent when we see ISP team lists on tuesday
There has been nothing on Grant swap since a few days ago when one article said it was possibly back on. That article could have just been rubbish, or there could be a bunch of stuff furiously happening behind the scenes.
